ARIADNE'S POV
My life was fine as fine as it could get.
For a demigod.
Leo had come back with Calypso, I had started reading The Burning Maze, and my brother was being an absolute Idiot. As usual.
Everything was great. Until I finished reading The Burning Maze, I was beyond pissed. Marissa, my best friend looked at me with concern. I started screaming at the book, and the gods stared at me. They had never seen me loose my cool like this. I had to keep it in control if I wanted to keep the universe in one piece. Marissa seemed to realize this and engulfed me in a hug. I froze up then eased into her arms. She was the only person, other than Sophia Grace my other best friend, who could do that.
"What's wrong Aria?" she asked calmly.
"Nothing is wrong. I am fine. This is fine. Everything is Fine. I am gonna go to Camp Jupiter now" I said, and teleported out of the Throne room. She sighed and teleported after me.
APOLLO'S POV
Something she read had made her mad, otherwise MArissa woldn't have just gone after her like that. But before I could think about it father spoke up.
"Aria has grown up to a Beautiful and Wise young Lady, It's time she gets married".
We all just stared at him.
"Chaos and I have chosen someone for her, and there is no room for opinions!" He thundered. Poseidon flinched, It was his daughter after all. " Apollo shall marry Aria, in one week's time" he declared. I choked on my own spit. " W-what!" I managed.
Zeus looked at me "Is there a problem Apollo?" he asked.
" No father," I said.
"It is settled then Gods and Goddesses, Start the planning!" He thundered. I flinched and teleported myself out to my house on Olympus.
