HARRY

When we arrived at the hotel I trudged into the back entrance and into the elevator. I was about to press 13, the level our room was on, when Louis grabbed my hand to stop me.

"Whatcha doing, boo?" I said with a goofy grin, looking into Louis's placid blue eyes. "You'll see." Lou said as he pressed the button that took us to the roof. I laughed and peaked into the bag, sneaking a fry.

"Hey!" Lou said, and as his revenge, stole my milkshake from my hands, taking a large gulp. I laughed at him and playfully punched his arm.

Finally, the elevator dinged and opened up to an empty roof. "What are we doing up here Lou?" I said, my mouth full of more french fries.

"Admiring the view." He said back, skipping to the edge of the roof, and sitting down in front of it. The sun was starting to set over the city skyline. It was beautiful.

"Okay.." I said wearily, taking our food out of the bag. I stuffed a fry into Louis's mouth and he smiled. "So that meeting..." He began to say, and I groaned.

"I know, I know." He said back. "I hated it as much as you, but we need to talk about it." I nodded slowly, taking a sip of his Coke.

"Haz what are we gonna do?" He said sadly, tears beginingto fill his eyes. I set down my food and brought my hand to his cheek. His whole head leaned into my hand, and I could feel a few wet tears land along my fingers.

"I don't know Lou." We sat silent for a moment, just admiring each other. "Fuck Modest!" He yelled suddenly, standing up. "Fuck Simon Cowell!" I said, shooting up beside him.

We screamed profanity out into the world around us until we ended in a laughing fit, forgetting why we were sad or mad in the first place. Louis sat back down.

"That felt good." He said and began to unwrap his burger. "It did." I said and sat down beside him.

"Do you think we will make it?" I said to him suddenly. He looked at me with ketchup all over his mouth.

"Make it where, curly?" I chuckled and wiped his mouth down with a napkin like he was a child.

"Seriously, Lou. Do you think this is permanent? Do you think we could make the US work?" He swallowed loudly while trying to think of a response.

"I mean, I don't know Harry. But what I do know, is that I don't think I could ever live without you." I smiled warmly as he continued,

"And I know that sounds like cheesy bullshit, and 2 years ago I would've slapped myself in the face for saying that, but I didn't know what love was. REAL genuine love. And I have that with you." He took a sip of his coke and dipped more french fries in ketchup.

I looked out into the sunset. "Yeah. Lou I think I'd kill myself if I lost you." He looked up at me, fear in his eyes.

"HEY! Haz!" He tilted my chin up with two fingers. "Promise me, whatever happens, whatever they do to drag us apart, you will never, ever, resort to that." I nodded and he seemed satisfied with my answer.

"Were gonna make it. We're gonna get married. We're gonna have kids. I know you'll be a great dad." He said, staring into the sunset.

"Kids?" I questioned back, thinking about mini Louis's running around one day.

"Yeah! We'll have tons of them. Well adopt or do a surrogate or something but we will have like 6 or something..." Lou rambled on. I smiled at the thought.

"And you'll be like the sweet caring parent that makes them come home right at curfew and doesn't let them eat sweets before dinner,"

He said, laughing along with me, "And i'll be the cool fun dad that gets them ice cream while you're at home cooking, and I'll drive them to parties." He put his hand over mine and continued,

"But ultimately, they will come to you when they need advice or like serious help." He said.

"Yeah but they will come to you when they need boy or girl advice, or when they need you to lie to me for them." I laughed out, picturing Louis holding a bunch of tiny children. He nodded his head and smiled his goofy little smile I loved so much.

"And we'll buy a big ole house in London, and everyday we will drive the kids to school in the morning, and we will go to every one of their games. And they will love the boys! They will call them their uncles and they will all come over for Sunday dinner at our house. Our own little family."

Lou continued on, ranting about the if's and where's. "I want that so bad." I whispered to him, kissing the top of his head. "When will we have that?" I said.

I knew we were only 18 and 20, but I was so ready to start my wonderful life with my beautiful soulmate.

"Someday my love, someday." was all he said back.
