To Call Out A Fox Pt. 1

From what I heard in class, we were having a new student in class. Yay, another person to bully me because of Lila's stories. The worst part is, they might believe her because they're from Italy. Lila could have lied there and they could still believe her.

When the new student stepped into the class, everyone greeted her with warm smiles. She smiled back until she looked directly at Lila. Her face turned into a scowl. I like this girl already. She saw me in the back, and went to sit next to me.

She stuck her hand out. "Isabella." She said. So her name is Isabella.

"Marinette." I shook it.

She looked around the class, then looked at me. "Are you her new victim at this school?"
Okay that caught me off guard. "I"m sorry. What?"

"I know she's a liar. I used to be one of her victims until I exposed her. So what I'm asking is, are you her new victim here?" Isabella said.

I nodded. I looked at Agreste. He just looked at me disappointed. I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, so we are definitely going to expose this lying witch. We need as much help as we can get. Does anybody else know?" She asked.

"Well there's Agreste but he insists that we take the high road and that she'll stop lying if we do something. But being the blind idiot that he is, he hasn't noticed that she hasn't stopped."

She looked at Adrien, and then back at me. "Well then, why would you listen to him?" She asked

"I did at first because I had a crush on him. That then died so I took matters into my own hands, but she turned it all around on me. I have the connections she claims she has, but that'll make her into an akuma, and her akuma forms are powerful, and she would target me." Mari explained.

"I am going to have to teach you a little thing about being petty and selfish. Now let's pay attention to the class." They then turned their attention to the board.

After class, there was only Isabella, Marinette, and Adrien. Adrien went up to Marinette. "Did you tell her that Lila is a you-know-what?"

Before Marinette could respond, Isabella said something quicker. "No she did not because I already know. And don't even try to give me that stupid high road advice, it won't work." She took Mari's hand and walked out of the classroom.

Adrien was shocked. How did she know without Marinette telling her. I guess I'll just have to visit her as Chat Noir. She might listen to him as a superhero. He then walked out of the classroom, looking smug.

When we got outside of the school, she let go of my hand. "Sorry, I just can't stand people like him. They always think they're in the right, when they are for sure wrong." Isabella said. Don't I know it.

"I get it. So what are we gonna do." I asked. Before she could answer I could hear someone say my name.

"Dupain-Cheng and new girl. I have something I wanna say." I turned around and saw Chloe. Yay. Note the sarcasm.

"Yes Chloe." I said annoyed.

"Okay I know that Lila is lying and I want to say I'm sorry for being rude to you. Anyways, I heard your conversation in the class, and I want to join. It sounds fun." My eyes widen.

"Did you, Chloe Bourgeois, just apologize to me, Marinette Dupain Cheng." I ask, unsure if I heard that right.

"Yes I apologized to you. I know the liar took away your friends and she took away the only friend I had, even though I treated her like a servant. And I know that Adrien knows, but won't do anything."

"Okay this day is full of surprises. You just called him Adrien instead of Adrikins." I said.

"Well since we all know, let's have a sleepover at someone's house so we can discuss the plan to expose her." Isabella said.

"Well we have to have it at mine's because we can get all the food and snacks we want and don't have to worry about any interruptions from my dad." Chloe said.

"Alright. Now that that's settled, let's go to mine for lunch?" I ask. WE all nod, and headed to the bakery.

"You live here? This is the best place to live ever!" Isabel said. I just laugh. It's the first time I laughed in a while, that is without seeing Kagami or Luka.

"I always wanted to be invited here." I heard Chloe say under her breath. I just smile at my new friend.

Little did I know, a cat was listening in on our conversation, on top of my balcony.
