As she closed the door to the hall she sighed and pressed her forehead against it. What was she going to do? Hoe could she have been so mouthy with the devil and dice? The devil owned her soul for goodness sake! He could send her to hell on a whim!
But the thing was he just didn't seem like he would... he didn't strike her as that kind of person in this situation. He seemed like he wanted things to be her choice when it came to what she did and didn't do with him... same with dice.
She turned to walk into her dark apartment and she made her way over to her bed where she face planted into it, quickly falling asleep.

Her dreams were usually so simple, usually so plain but this night her dreams were anything but.

It started off like any other might. She was playing with her brothers and Cagney in the fields in the forest when she tripped over a branch and fell through the ground only to arrive face up, laying on her back on the floor of the devils office.
She sat up and looked around. This was odd. Now she could tell she was dreaming...
The devil was sitting at his desk with dice pacing back and forth in front of him. "We have half of inkwell banging on our door trying to get us to let her go boss. She's rebutting our advances. The only way she's gonna be able to stay is if we get her to fall in love with one of us and make her think it was her idea! Then people will leave us alone and shit can go back to normal."
"Don't you think I know this dice? I don't like having to keep people out of my casino... And I love having her around, not even just to torture the cup brothers but...She's fun. She's so tiny and so easily flustered..." he said, looking off.
"Yeah... She's cute alright... but what do we do? If she doesn't want either one of us what do we do?"
"I don't know dice but I'm not letting her go without a fight..."
Angel by this time was on her feet and listening carefully. So that's what was going on, they did like her but they were also being the selfish prick's she thought they were before....but if things came to a fight with people trying to rescue her... innocent people could get hurt and that was the last thing she wanted. So it seemed she had a choice to start making. Did she want to rule the casino or all of Hell?

She sat up off her bed with a start, her hand over her heart as it thundered in her chest. Had that dream been real? It had felt real... She was sure it was. It was crystal clear in her mind even now that she was fully awake. But what was she supposed to do?
She stood off the bed slowly and went to her little kitchen to find something to eat only to hear a knock at the door and king dice opened it. "Hello my darlin. Did you sleep well?" He asked as he carried in a covered tray.
She hugged herself and nodded, watching him quietly.
He looked at her and raised an eyebrow as he sat the tray down. "Cat got your tongue?"
She nodded as she came over to sit down.
"Didn't lose your voice did you darlin?"
She paused but nodded again and he leaned down and took her face in his hands to inspect her throat. "Poor thing. Must be from all the singing since you got here."
She blushed as he touched her face and quickly pushed his hands away and he cocked his head to the side. "Are you.... mad at me?" He asked slowly.
She nodded again.
"I didn't tell him what we did you know. It's his casino. He's the devil. He knows every sinful thing that goes on here." He defended and she looked down, avoiding his gaze. "Please angel darlin I swear I didn't say nothin. Don't be upset with me. Look! I made you breakfast!" He said as he lifted the tray top off and revealed a big stack of fruity French toast. Her mouth watered and she sighed, "fine. But only cause I'm hungry." She said as she moved forward to start eating and he smiled as he watched. "I really am sorry that he found out though." She sighed, "I know... it's ok. I guess it's just embarrassing. This really isn't the type of girl I thought I was." She admitted.
"Well... if it helps... I like this you. Who ever she is." He told her as he placed a hand on her back and she smiled, moving to put her fork down and sit across his lap. "Really?" She asked, taking his shirt collar in her hands.
"Really darlin." He said as he put his hands on her hips and pulled her in closer. She was about to lean in to kiss him when someone cleared their throat at the door and there stood the devil and angel blushed as he stepped inside. "Hope I'm not interupting..." he said with a smirk.
Dice pulled her closer when she tried to move off him, "not at all sir." He said with an equally mischivious smirk on his face.
She looked between the two of them and instantly didn't like where this was going.
"Oh good because I came to see if our dear angel would want to... perhaps join me for a little game I'm hosting. Dice you're welcome as well."
"I'm game. How about you darlin?" He asked turning to angel who looked nervously between the two.
"Don't I have to be downstairs soon?" She asked.
"Not if we say otherwise." The devil said folding his arms. "And I say otherwise."
She nodded as she could see his patience wearing thin. "Ok... I'll join for a little bit then..." She said as she and dice stood and went to follow the devil out.
