She sighed as she scanned the papers in dice's office. No wonder he always looked so tired when he came upstairs. These number hardly made sense.
She groaned and rubbed her neck, leaning back off the desk and sighed, thinking about just leaving the rest for dice to do but she shook her head. No she couldnt do that to him. She wanted him to rest... and sleep so that he would leave her alone for a while anyway.
She stood from the desk. "Coffee. That'll help." She said, kicking off her heals under dices desk and unbuttoning the top two buttons of her blouse to get the collar off her neck a bit. She made her way out of his office and across the floor to the bar again, setting up the espresso machine and waiting for her cup of coffee to brew while she leaned back on the counter trying to keep her eyes open.
When a loud clanging sound jolted her awake as it echoed through the empty main floor and she let out a little cry of surprise as she looked around nervously.
She swallowed hard and stepped around the counter to try and see if something fell to cause that loud noise but she didn't see anything...wait... no.
The trident! It was gone! But...that was impossible! Only dice, the devil, and angel could touch it! Anyone else would be burned! She rushed up to the throne to see it wasnt gone, just knocked over behind the throne...but there was still something sizzling on it. Someone tried to touch it... Someone with green skin? She knelt down carefully to inspect the sizzling flesh only to realize it wasn't flesh. It was...She sniffed the air, grass? No... a...flower.
Her eyes widened and she went to turn and run to get help only to come face to face with Cagney Carnation.
Her eyes were huge and her blood ran cold as she fell back on her ass as the flower towered over her. "C-cags?" She said, unable to believe her eyes.
He chuckled darkly. "Hey babe. How's it hanging?" He asked, kneeling down to grin at her and she inched back, her hand bumping the trident and she quickly picked it up and turned it towards Cagney. "Stay away from me!" She said through her teeth.
He chuckled, "You don't scare me babe. You're too cute. Thinking you're all bad and tough. You're just so small." He said, reaching out to boop  her nose and she put the trident to his throat as he did. "Back off cags..." He chuckled and raised his hands, moving to stand, seeming as if he surrendered.
She slowly lowered the trident only for two sets of hands to grab her and before she could scream a third placed a wet cloth over her mouth. She tried to fight against the things that had her but the rag, whatever was on it, was able to knock her out easily.
The last thing she saw before her world went black was Cagney laughing evilly and smiling down at her.

When devil and dice woke up the next morning they stretched together and yawned and the devil flexed his claws like a cat. "Where did angel go?"
Dice glanced at the clock. "It is nearly 7 maybe she headed down a bit early to let everyone in?" He said as he stood and went over to his bedroom to change into a fresh suit as the one from the day before was wrinkled now.
"Yeah. Seems like her." Devil said as he went and started up a pot of coffee. "Two creams and a sugar right?" He called over his shoulder to dice.
Dice poked his head around the corner or the door. "That's right. I like my coffee like I like my angel." He said with a wink and the devil groaned.
"Dice it's too early for your bad puns." He moaned.
"On the contrary. I think they give the morning a bit of a get up and go kinda feel to it." Dice said, coming out, straightening his tie.
"Yeah... get up and go away. Dumb block head. Here's your coffee." The devil said handing dice a black mug of creamy hot coffee while the devil just turned the whole pot up and guzzled it... then he proceeded to eat the filter and coffee grinds.
Dice shook his head, sipping his coffee and watching his partner. "You're an animal." He teased
"And you're a brat so what?" Retorted the devil as he chewed on the grinds.
"Come on kitty kitty. Let's get to work." Dice said, heading for the door.
"For the last time dice! I'm. Not. A fucking. CAT!" The devil said, heading after him, making king chuckle.

Their happy little playful morning was quickly over and long gone as they stepped off the elevator and looked out to see a sea of destruction.
The slot machines were broken to bits and the card tables were nothing but splinters. The bar supplies were all shattered too. But...The Odd thing was that the floor had a light dusting of...what looked like pollen.
All the employees who had come in to find the mess stopped looking around and turned to see the dice and devil. This. Was not gonna be good.
"Who locked up last night?" Dice asked calmly, his voice tight.
The others exchanged glances. "Don't make me ask again..." Dice warned when no one spoke.
Wheezy stepped forward. "King... it w as Angel."
"Angel locked up?" He asked looking up at the old cigar who nodded.
"Where is she?"
And that was when everyone looked away again. "Gone." Wheezy said quietly.
Dice took a step back, stunned by the idea of her being gone. "Gone? Gone where? Where could she go? Where would she go?!" He began, his panic rising.
As wheezy tried to answer and calm dice down the devil looked down at the floor, noticing the pollen and he noticed...drag marks. Something was drug through the pollen and out the door...
He left the cigar to deal with his boyfriend while he followed the trail to where it began...by his throne... his trident was out of place. Angel must have grabbed it, trying to defend herself... but judging by how it was laying and the way the pollen fell around it...it got kicked away. He saw impressions of one, two, three....six...nine... twelve different feet standing in different places with different walking patterns. "Someone took her...." He said as he stood straight and looked back at dice, blood tears at the corners of his eyes. "Someone stole our angel." He said through his teeth, fire crackling at his feet. The devil....was angry.
