Kylie's POV:

I've been here for a week and have yet to meet Antonio's main men and girls. I knew the men who was guarding the house weren't them. Antonio barely makes eye contact with him when we walk pass. I do notice the men peeking at me sometimes. I sat on the couch and drank some coffee. Saturday's are the only days I could really relax. I have to go into work on Sunday mornings then I could leave during the afternoons. Working with Antonio isn't that bad. He's just very straight forward and I don't really think I could get comfortable enough here. I don't really have friends and I'm not the most social person. Don't get me wrong, I am kind and I don't feel uncomfortable talking with people. But that's only if they approach me first. Even when I'm seducing. My strategy is to catch a man's eye with the smallest gestures. Then keep him rapped around my finger.

I felt a little bored and the only 4 places I've been at in this house are the bathroom, living room, my bedroom, and the kitchen. So I decided to go and do a self tour of the house. As I went around the house, I wondered whether Antonio had a house decorator do his house or something. Everything was set up beautifully. The decor looked untouched.

I then stumbled upon and room. The door was black with matching henges. My gut told me not to go in there but my curious mind disobeyed. I walked in and it didn't seem as I thought. It was literally just a bedroom. First I thought the room belonged to one of the guys that Antonio said lived with him. But as I started to look around more, I noticed not only his watch but a picture of his parents on his nightstand. I then heard footsteps coming toward the door. I panicked so much that I quietly ran into the closet. I covered my mouth so he wouldn't hear me breathing. I felt my heart beat faster the closer his footsteps were to the closet. Yes, I am a trained assassin. But Antonio is very very dangerous. He's stronger, more skilled, and less hesitant.

Antonio on the phone: Alright mom, I'll be there in a few. Yes I'm going to bring Kylie don't worry. Which I am surprised you're asking considering the fact that I don't need her on my every move. I think I might let loose and only bring her places if I feel like I really need her. But to the beach? Come on mom. So what she's pretty? I hope you guys didn't send her to play matchmaker because that's not gonna hap-

He was interrupted by my foot accidentally hitting the door to the closet. I felt my heartbeat rush faster when he said "Mom I'm gonna call you back," and started walking towards the closet. He opened it and dragged me out my my neck. I was kicking as I felt myself suffocating. I tried to say his name but struggled. He threw my body against the floor and finally let go of my neck. I arched my back as I caught my breath.

"Rule #5, don't come in my room. Get your ass up," he said coldly

I got up without hesitation. I thought I was ok until I felt his hand around my neck once again. Except this time I felt myself levitating against the wall. I grabbed onto his hand trying to get him to let go. All I seen were his eyes. His green eyes.

Antonio's POV:

She broke rule #5. Who does she think she is? No one comes in my room. Especially uninvited. I looked her in her hazel eyes and seen nothing but fear. Why am I not satisfied like usual? I've killed many people who disobeyed me regardless of whether they worked for me or not. She barely fought back. She knows I'm smarter, stronger, and that I can kill her at any given time. She stuttered and struggled saying my name. I knew I was affecting her so I let go of her.

"Get out and get dressed for the beach. Next time I won't be so courteous," I said while rubbing the palm of my hand.

She stared at me and I noticed the tears coming down her eyes. I was filled with mixed emotions. I didn't know whether I should slap her, yell, choke her, or wait. I stood there motionless until she got up and ran out. I was confused for a minute. I didn't expect her to cry or even look stunned. She's an assassinator. Assassinators don't show emotion. They kill with no remorse. And they know they can get hurt or killed. Why take up for a job you can't handle? Is she trying to prove herself? Like I said, she isn't easy to study. But I'm surprisingly willing to study her no matter the outcome.

I hate that the girls and my closest me love going to the beach. The good thing about this is, Kylie can go ahead and meet everyone.

I threw on light jeans, a button up shirt, my watch, and a chain with a pendant on it. Something casual and nothing too much. I walked out and seen Kylie waiting downstairs. From the looks of it, she threw on leggings and a tee. "Kylie we're going to the beach. Not a damn yoga session," I said chuckling a little. She shrugged her shoulders and looked away. Was she scared of me? Well I mean who wouldn't be. I'm the most dangerous man in many countries. Mainly Italy.

"Look Kylie. I know we don't really know each other but you barely say a word to me. I don't know if it's because you're shy or uncomfortable or scared of me. But please stop with the two worded nonsense and the nods. I know I'm your boss but I can't stand living under a roof with someone I don't speak with. This is an order," I told her while walking down the stairs and I look down at her. I felt tension standing so close as my eyes meet her. I was speechless and didn't say anything else. I finally seen her open her mouth.

"I just wanted to appear respectful and not get on your bad side. I see that I have disrespected you by invading your privacy. I was aware I was in your room. And I'm sorry. I will start to talk more Boss. I'm just not really used to this." She said and she smiled as she walked out.

The way she spoke. It wasn't professionally but normal. I loved hearing her voice. It's comforting. And the way she smiled. She knows she's beautiful but probably will never admit it. We got in the car. I suspect silence until she spoke to me.

"Boss," she said while playing with her fingers.

"Yes?"

"Why are we going to the beach?"

"So you can meet my closest men and my girls. You'll like being around them. They're fun unless we're on duty." I said and she looked up at me smiling sweetly. Ever since we had that conversation, I feel like she's more comfortable with me. I feel a little happy about that. I'm surprised she's warming up to me due to the fact that I choked her out 2 hours ago. Maybe she won't be so bad.

Kylie's POV:

As soon as we got out, I followed Antonio near the water. I dipped my hands in the water and felt something touch me. I lifted my hand up and seen seaweed. I screamed and threw the seaweed behind the rocks. It took me a few minutes to realize that my bracelet was missing. The last thing I had from my grandmother. She was the only person who treat me right in my family. I was always scared of the ocean. Scared of drowning. I lightly tapped Antonio's shoulder as he was texting. He looked at me and I felt as if I was in a trance for 5 seconds. God those eyes.

"Yes Kylie?" He said to me while raising one eyebrow

"I lost my bracelet by those rocks. Could you get it for me? It's pretty important to me." I said looking at him with a sad look.

Without any hesitation, he ran to the rocks while unbuttoning his shirt. I waited for a couple of minutes and got worried. It's my job to protect him and I felt like I was failing for a minute. I jogged going towards the rocks then stopped to see him walking. He has to have about the finest body I've ever seen on a human. He was overly attractive. He had what looked like an eight pack from my point of view. I noticed my bracelet on his wrist and he walked to me and handed the bracelet to me. Next thing you know, I felt his breath against my neck. He chuckled then whispered in my ear "Take a picture, it'll last longer," then chuckled. "They're here," he said while walking away. Damn this man
