Camryn's POV:

Emily and I held that poor girl at night. I put her in my bed once she fell asleep. I told Emily to tell everyone what happened. While she was sleep, I cleaned her hand up and patched it up. She was hurt. Physically, mentally, and emotionally.

I was cooking breakfast and everyone was quiet. We heard small footsteps and seen Kylie hiding behind the door. Tanner got up and grabbed her hand leading her into the kitchen. We all hugged her and she sobbed a little.

"Can you tell the maids that I'll clean my mess. I don't want them to worry," she said with a depression tone and expression.

"We handled it already Ky," Rico said giving her a soft smile.

"We decided to handle everything so you could spend time with Camryn before you left," Penny said.

"We'll miss you though," Dana said with a soft smile.

"I'll miss you all too," Kylie said with a soft expression. "Camryn can we please leave before Antonio comes back. He's the last person I want to see." She said frowning.

"Of course, we can leave after we eat." I said with a comforting smile.

After we ate, she said her farewells to everyone. She was aware that should could see us again, but she knew it would be rare. We were busy a lot. We got in the car and drove to a museum. I payed for our tickets and we walked around talking about life. Her past included. As well as mine.

"It's true. I came from a wealthy family. Once they became too greedy, they wanted me to trick Andre into signing papers that could've caused this whole Mafia to downfall. I went to Antonio about this and he was hesitant at first but trusted me. That's when I became is right hand man. I was 16 when I first met him. My parents had to suffer severe consequences but I begged the Riccis' not to kill them. Now, I don't know where they are. And I don't want to know,"

She made complete eye contact with me and was nodding. Making small facial reactions. I knew she was paying attention. I smiled at her as she hugged me. I hugged her back and whispered in her ear, "For being the amazing person you are, I owe you something."

She parted from the hug, "Camryn, you've done enough. And I love you for it. Thank you. You don't have to do anything else I swear." She said in a worried tone.

I chuckled, "I love you too but trust me when I say it's worth it," I said. I grabbed her hand and started walking. "I talked to Antonio like I promised you. I did this morning. He told me why he was so cruel. He likes you Kylie. He just doesn't want to," then a flashback came to me.

We were in his office.

"You shouldn't be here Antonio. Please leave. I don't want Kylie breaking down again." I said demandingly.

"A breakdown?" He asked

"Antonio her whole room is fucking trashed." I raised my voice.

"Why?" He asked

"Are you serious? Anytime she makes the slightest mistake, you hurt her. You're physically abusive towards her and it's NOT ok. She doesn't deserve that shit. She went through hell and back with her mom. You're bringing those memories back. Then you believe a random ass bitch you met only a couple of months ago. The proof was garbage. Do you like Janet or something? If you do, then go to that bitch. BUT STOP FUCKING HURTING SOMEONE WHOS BEEN THERE FOR YOU!" I yelled while shaking a little.

"I like her Camryn," he said in a low tone.

"What?" I questioned

"I said," he turned to me "I like her. I caught feelings for her and I didn't want to. I treat her like I would treat any other guard. I did that so the feelings could leave. But they got worse and stronger. I love being around her. I physically hurt her because I thought it would keep her away. And it didn't. I believed Janet because I wanted to. I wanted a reason not to love," he said looking down.

"You love her?" I asked

He stayed quiet.

"Well if you do, you have a hard way of showing it. You told me the day we all met her not to touch her. That she was off limits. And you told me because you said so, paused, and said you meant it was an assignment. You've always liked her. And you didn't want to hurt her anymore. That's why you weren't the one to hit her in the cell. That's why you didn't want to pull the trigger. You don't want to love, but you don't want to hurt her anymore. Because it hurts you."

The flashback ended.

Kylie looked in shock.

"You know, I liked you the moment I met you. You brought happiness in the atmosphere. You made others happy without even trying. But as I got to know you, I felt happy that you were my best friend rather than my girlfriend." With that, I kissed her head as she lied on my chest.

"I'm ready to go to Russia now," she said calmly.

I nodded and we walked down the museum holding hands. I love my best friend, Kylie Ricci.
