Sieving through my playlist on my phone, I walk down the path on campus with a small hum. As I decide which song to play first, I click my tongue and purse my lips. Do I go with something sad? Or something upbeat? Or shall I just abandon music all together and just do it without music blaring in my ears? Textbooks, cookbooks and a notepad rest in my arms as I head toward the campus library. A smile playing on my lips as I nod and wave toward other college students who walk past me, sending me a small smile in return. The heels of my shoes clicking gently against the pavement of the path as I walk across campus.

With the evening free to do whatever I want, the twins being babysat by their Uncle Toya for a play date with his son, Hiro, I was able to head toward the library for some quiet studying and catching up on homework and missed content. I had a lot of content to catch up on. So much that it kept me awake at night, tossing and turning uncomfortably. Sometimes even dreading the day about to come, worrying about the work that I need to do and the work that'll be set.

Procrastination is a bitch...

I needed to feel relaxed! I needed to get to a point where I was comfortable with having a little break and just unwind. Sure, I had time to study when I was babysitting the twins but every five minutes I'm putting out fires! I'm making sure Kōri and Ryoku aren't fighting, making sure that they don't hurt themselves. I also have to cook for them too. I'm also making sure that Shoto doesn't set fire to anything while Momo is out! He's three years older than me and he needs babysitting too!

So this evening was dedicated to try and help me get on top of things before I burn myself out and decide to set my textbooks and notes on fire.

With a small breath, I head up the stairs toward the library before awkwardly pushing the door open. My arms full of books as I try to kick the door open, sending a nervously embarrassed smile toward onlookers as I try to squirm into the library with a small strained giggle. Trying not to make myself more of a fool than I already was.

Thankfully, a kind soul opens the door for me, sending me a small reassuring smile as I send him a quick thank you before teetering through the library toward the table where Kana, Kurva, Akari and Hanako are sitting peacefully with their own textbooks open for their hero exams in a couple of weeks. Akari pouting to herself as she scribbles violently on her paper before huffing and throwing the defaced piece of paper across the room into the bin with a small curse word under her breath.

However, her whole mood changes as I wobble toward the table with a giggle. The violet haired girl sending me a bright smile as she moves the papers and the books to the side to allow me some space, ignoring Kana's sound of defiance as her books are cramped together and not spaced apart how she likes it.

Sending Akari a thankful gaze, I set my books down with a considerable bang on the table making Kurva squeal with a giggle before sticking her tongue toward me as I rub the back of my neck nervously. Humming gently, I take a seat onto the plush seating of the library and clear my throat as I open up my textbook onto improving carbon footprints on certain foods such as meat and dairy products. Opening up my cloud cover spiralled notebook, I tick a strand of hair behind my ear before grabbing a pen from my pencil case and beginning to write notes.

"No babysitting tonight?" Akari asks tilting her head as she slams her math book shut and turns her whole attention toward me with a big smile, "I thought you work after class everyday? Monday to Friday?"

"Yeah, I do but their uncle offered to babysit tonight while his wife is out with her friends for dinner," I explain, sketching a picture of a cow face on my notepad next to the notes on cow rearing and the most economic way to rear them without causing harm and the rules certain farmers should follow, "Which is a godsend for me, I really needed to catch up on my work. I've been behind for a few weeks,"
