Chapter 12

Smiling gently to myself, I lean against the doorway of the twins' bedroom door and watch as they get themselves ready for the day. Both of them vibrating with excitement as they grab their red sneakers that represent the iconic red shoes that Deku wears constantly before sprinting to the front door to slide them on and get their jackets on. A giggle leaves my lips as the pair of them sit on the seat beside the front door, sliding into their sneakers with big grins plastered across their lips.

Once finished with putting their sneakers on, Ryoku and Kōri then look toward me expectantly, pointing toward the coat rack that they can't physically reach. Releasing a small giggle, I grab Ryoku's Dynamight hoodie from the coat hanger and then I grab Kōri's Deku hoodie before helping them into their hoodies and making sure that their t shirts underneath isn't bunched up.

Leaning against the kitchen counter, already clad in his casual wear, stood Shoto. The male ready to take his twin sons out for the day to spend time with them. Shoto hadn't actually had father and son time with the boys for a good while, so he was taking them to the movies and then out for lunch before taking them to their uncle's house for a play date. The boys couldn't be more excited about today.

They loved spending time with their father after all.

With the boys ready and waiting for Shoto, I run my fingers through my hair and head into the kitchen with a smile. Shoto nods toward me, sending me a fond smile, before pocketing his phone and clearing his throat. The older Todoroki male kisses his wife's cheek, holding her close for a quick hug before heading toward the twins and grabbing his car keys.

"Bye boys! Have fun with daddy!" Momo exclaims, kissing her sons on their foreheads and ruffling their hair, "Mama will see you soon okay? I love you!"

"We love you too!" The boys exclaim in unison, smiling brightly toward their mother who waves them off as they skip out of the house toward the car that Shoto unlocks for them.

Gently smiling, Momo shuts the door behind Shoto and turns toward me. The black haired woman having a rather excited smile on her lips which makes my stomach turn nervously. What was she planning? What was the real plan behind the twins going out today? Are her and Shoto planning something? Is something going on that I don't know?...

In the middle of my mental questioning, Momo takes my hands in hers and leads me toward the kitchen with a bright smile. Her black eyes glisten with excitement as she sits me down and claps her hands in a buoyant fashion while jumping up and down. Okay... something must be going on...

I can feel it...

Arching a nervous brow, I sit on my hands. Not wanting to begin stressing over something that probably isn't that bad. After all, Momo would never put me in a situation that I wouldn't like. I could trust her. I can trust that she won't put me anywhere or make me do anything that'll make me implode on sight.

"So! Since the boys are out for the day, I was wondering if you'd want to spend the day with me," Momo begins, resting her hands on my shoulders with a bright smile on her features as she buzzes with excitement, "The girls and I are having a big lunch today and I'd love for you to join!"

"W - what?" I stammer nervously, watching with wide eyes as Momo giggles gently and pokes my nose as I gawk at her, my jaw hitting the floor, "Y - you can't be serious right?... Y - you want me to... to be with you and... g - girls?!"

Was she serious?! She wanted me to spend time with her and her friends. Her friends, the pro heroes, by the way! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! What heroes would be there? This is so amazing! Oh my god! I get to meet all these amazing people! These people that I have looked up to and admired ever since I watched them on tv at the sports festivals and they became heroes.
