You leave your house and begin walking to the Academy. Along the way you see Denki waiting outside his house. He spots you too and begins to wave at you. The two of you then began walking to school together
"How'd you sleep Kazuma?"
"Pretty ok"
"That's good"
" I notice you don't have your glasses on Denki."
Denki blushes a slight shade of red
"Yeah I decided to go one day without my glasses to see how everyone else would react."
"Can you see well without your glasses?"
"I'll be okay"
"Well I kinda like it when you don't wear them. You have nice eyes."
Denki's blush intensifies and he covers his face
When the two of you arrive at school, you notice all the girls around you start squealing when they pass by you.
" What's that about?"
"Well the girl's always go crazy whenever they see a cute guy like you"
You give Denki a weird look. Realising what he just said, Denki replies,"uhh not that I think you're cute... I mean you are but...."
You cut him off with a giggle and Pat Denki on the head.
"You're funny when you're embarrassed. Come on let's sit down."
Shino-Sensei walks in and begins to make an announcement
"Students today we will be assessing each of your individual strengths and weaknesses involving ninjutsu so let's get right into it.
(Time Skip to your turn)
"Up next is Kazuma Mikoto" Shino said
You proceed to show them Wind Style, Water Style and Lighting Style jutsu and the Shadow Clone jutsu.
(Time Skip till the end of the day)
You and your group of friends were discussing today's earlier exercise
"Mitsuki and Kazuma were the highlights of the day."Shikadai said
"Yeah I never knew Kazuma could do Shadow Clone Jutsu."Boruto said
"I learned it a while ago but I barely use it."
Your group continues to talk until Boruto says," Hey Denki, could I talk to you for a second?" As he pulls Denki away from the crowd you watch them disappear from sight and continue talking with them
"We need to talk about something Denki" Boruto said
" Oh what about?" Denki replied
"It's pretty obvious you have a crush on Kazuma" Boruto said with a wide smile
"Uwaaa what do you mean?"
"Come on Denki. Your face is always red around him, you're always looking at him and you called him cute the other day."
Denki stood there shocked.
"I guess I kinda do have a crush on him but I don't think I'm ready to tell him yet." Denki said looking sad
"Don't worry Denki. Your secret is safe with me. Let's go join the other's."
When Boruto rejoins the group he proposes the idea of going on the train for a while.
(Time Skip to the train)
"Ok so what I had in mind is that we all get into teams of two and we'll walk blindfolded across the top of the train."
"Sure that sounds like fun" Mitsuki says
"I'm down" Inojin said
"Great,"Boruto said,"So the teams will be Me and Mitsuki, Inojin and Shikadai, Kazuma and Denki. Is everyone ok with that?"
"I'm ok with it." You say. Denki blushes a dark shade of red.
"Great let's get started."
You get onto the roof of the train and blindfold Denki. You notice Denki is shaking.
"Hey I know you're scared but don't worry I'm here. You won't fall on my watch"
"Thanks Kazuma"
Denki sets off towards the end of the train. He almost makes it but he steps on an old sheet of metal and the floor beneath him gives away and he falls through. You jump in after him and wrap your arms around him and brace for impact.
You land in the train on your back and Denki lands on top of you.
He removed his blindfold and noticed what had just happened and turned the darkest shade of red he's ever turned.
"I told you you weren't going to fall as long as I were here" you said with a smile.
Denki gets up and offers you a hand to get up as well
"Boruto I think we should just go home"Shikadai said
"Awww but it was just getting good. Ugh fine whatever."
You all go your separate ways and your left alone with Denki.
"Let's get going Denki."
Denki follows you in silence.
Halfway along the journey, Denki stops abruptly. You turn to face him and notice tears streaming down his face
You walk up to him," Denki what's the matter?"
"I'm sorry Kazuma."
"What for?"
"You got hurt because of me. I'm so so-"
Denki is interrupted by you giving him a hug
"This is the first hug I've shared with anyone. Don't worry about today, I told you myself that I would protect you"
You take off his glasses and start cleaning them. Before returning his glasses you wipe his tears from his eyes.
" I'm tougher than you think Denki. I'll be alright."
Denki looks at you with a wide expression in his face
"Well this is your stop Denki, I'll see you tomorrow."
As you walk away, you feel something hit your back. It was Denki, he was hugging you. " Thank you for saving me Kazuma"
"My pleasure Denki."
You wave goodbye and head home
