You wake up in a dark hospital room you recognise. You look around and see the familiar faces around you.
"I'm here again?" Everyone except Denki get's out of their seat to greet you.
"I'm so glad you're ok" Sarada said
"It was a drag carrying you but I'm happy you made it" Shikadai said
"What happened to Mitsuki. He was unconscious when I found him" You asked
"He's in intensive care. Almost all of his chakra was depleted. If you weren't there to protect him from the explosion, he would've died." Sarada said
"And Boruto?" You ask
" He's going after his father. Lord Seventh was kidnapped" Iwabe said
"Oh. Where's Denki?" You ask
Everyone around you points at the silent Denki seated at his chair.
"Denki?" You ask
He silently gets out of his chair and stands up straight. You see tears streaming along his face.
"Hey I'm okay." You reassure him
He walks over to you and gives you a hug.
"I love you Kazuma." Denki said
Your eyes widen and you look at everyone, realising that Denki said that out loud.
"Umm did I hear that correctly?" Inojin asked
"What did you say Denki?" Iwabe asked
"Oh come on don't tell me you didn't know you guys" Sarada complained
"Wait Sarada you knew?" You asked
"Yeah I did" She replied
"Do you mind sharing what's going on?" Inojin said
"I guess it's out now. Denki and I are dating." You confessed
"I had my suspicions but asking you about it would've been a drag." Shikadai said
"Looks like I lost a contender." ChoCho said
"How long?'' Iwabe asked
"2 and a half months" You said
"I'm happy for you two. You're perfect for each other." Sarada added.
"Well now you know. You can let go of me Denki" You said but he only proceeds to hold you tighter.
"Could you guys give us a minute?" You ask everyone and they leave the room.
"Hey it's just us now. Please look at me." You ask
Denki looks up at you with foggy glasses. You remove them and put them on the bedside table.
"I'm so sorry Kazum-" Denki was interrupted when you placed your hand on his cheek
"Denki don't be sorry. I was protecting the person I love the most. I've never had anyone in my life until I found you and I don't want to lose you." You say
"But I- " Denki was interrupted when you put your lips on his. The two of you share a deep kiss before separating, making Denki's eyes widen.
"I love you Denki" You say with a smile
"I love you too Kazuma" Denki says with tears on his face.
You were soon dispatched that day and Denki asked you to stay with him at his place for a while while you recovered. You agreed to the idea and went to his house.
"You should invite the other's one day"
" Yeah" Denki replied as the two of you enter his house, your relationship stronger than ever.
