You and Mitsuki are inside the Hokage's office. You looks around and see Lord Hiashi,Hinata, Konohamaru, Shikamaru, Udon-Sensei and Naruto.
Naruto stands up and begins to talk.
"The two of you have shown skills far beyond genin level. Mitsuki, your skills in both ninjutsu and taijutsu are well beyond your years. You have good intuition and quick thinking. Kazuma, you really surprised me there. You were able to pull of jutsu that compares to Sasuke's jutsu. Being able to cover yourself with lightning chakra, successfully using three different Chakra nature's and pulling off a jutsu like the 8 Trigrams 64 Palms is Jounin Level."
"The two of you showed incredible skill and after a long discussion we are officially making you two Chunin." Shikamaru added
"The two of you will stay with your three man teams but when it is necessary, the two of you will become another team with Konohamaru at the reins" Naruto said
"Kazuma I'm proud that you were able to successfully pull off the 8 Trigrams 64 Palms technique" Hinata said
"Yes your mastery of the Gentle Fist is almost identical to Neji's" Hiashi added
"I gotta say, when I saw your technique, it was like I was watching the real Neji back in action"Naruto added.
Shikamaru leaves the room and quickly comes back with the Leaf village Chunin vests and a certificate as proof that you are now Chunin.
As you leave the Hokage's office he yells out to you,"Keep up the good work!"
You and Mitsuki walk down the hallway.
"I wonder what kind of missions we will go on together Kazuma. " Mitsuki said
"I look forward to working with you Mitsuki" you say as you reach the door to exit. You open the door and see all of your friends waiting outside.
"What did my stupid old man call you for?" Boruto asked
You and Mitsuki looked the each other and smiled. Still smiling, you both pulled out your Chunin vests and certificates
"The two of you became Chunin?!" Iwabe asked
"Awww the two of them just became more attractive" ChoCho complained
"Hehe Thanks gu-hmm!!" You were interrupted when Denki placed his lips on yours, making everyone else turn red. Something about this kiss was different. This was the most passionate kiss you've ever shared with Denki. Before getting lost in the kiss, you realised that there are people around you.
The two of you separate and you look around to see everyone staring at you with red faces.
"Sorry I got a bit carried away." Denki giggled
"Don't worry about it." You said.
" Let's go to Thunder Burger to celebrate" Boruto suggested. You and your group head over to Thunder Burger and book a large table.
"So Kazuma and Denki let's cut straight to the chase. First, Kazuma how do you have the Byakugan?" Boruto asked.
"I told you about my father before but not my mother. Truth be told I knew nothing about my parents other than their names. When Denki said I had the Byakugan, I visited Boruto's mom to confirm. Lord Hiashi then told me that my mother was a member of the Hyuga clan. So I inherited the Byakugan from her and I started training with Miss Hinata and Lord Hiashi." You explained
"So what were the two of you doing when Denki saw your Byakugan?" Sarada asked
The two of you became red faced as you heard Sarada's question
"Uh.. we were... Ummm" Denki stuttered
"It's ok Denki. You can tell them." You said
Denki covered his face with his hands and said,"We were making out when he activated his Byakugan"
The sentence sounded more embarrassing than you thought and you proceeded to hide your face while everyone at the table laughed.
"So now that Mitsuki and I are Chunin, we will be going on certain missions together." You say
"That's awesome. You two combined would be nearly unbeatable" Inojin said.
" I'd be sorry if we had to fight you two" Shikadai said
"That's it! Mitsuki and Kazuma, I hereby challenge you two to a two vs two battle." Boruto said
"Wait what?" Shikadai asked
"Boruto what are you talking about? You don't even have a partner." Denki said
"That's where you're wrong. Sarada agreed to be my partner." Boruto added.
You all look at Sarada, who shamefully looks away
"Ok Boruto we accept your challenge but what's the catch?" You ask.
"If we win we get to tag along on your Chunin missions but if you win we have to teach you our best ninjutsu. " Boruto said.
"You have a deal. Mitsuki let's crush them." You say to your partner
"Agreed Kazuma" Mitsuki replies
"Tomorrow at the genin battle grounds." Boruto states.
You all agree. Before you leave, you close your eyes and reopen them, having awakened your Byakugan and looked closely at Boruto before deactivating it again.
"Uh Kazuma?" Boruto said
"128. I see. Well I'm going to go rest." You say as you leave the restaurant but in actuality you are going to train for tomorrows battle.
"Boruto are you sure you can handle two Chunin as skilled as those two." Shikadai asked
"I have a jutsu that's hidden as well" Boruto said.
You spend the night practicing your jutsu as you anticipate tomorrows battle.
