Jane was sitting with Rebeckah in their office just beside Maura's. She couldn't stop thinking of why the mother of Eithan came to see the girls.

She noticed that the woman was hiding something and that she was clutching her bag like she was scared of letting it go and she even noticed that it was heavy, like unusual heavy.

"Jane, what's up with you?" The blond asked her.

Jane looked up and shook her head.

"Something bothered me when Mrs. Machado came to see the girls when we were having dinner" she started and Rebeckah just nodded.

"I noticed how she clench on her handbag like she was scared that we would take it away from her and it was heavy. I know my ways of handbags because Maura is a fashionista when it comes to shoes and designer bags and that bag she had was can tell you was fake" she said.

"Also what bothers me is that she knew where they live, no one in that school knows but your family so how did she know and why come at 8 in the evening?" She added and that sparked an interest in Rebeckah.

"Oh you might be right about that. We never added the girls real adress on their applications because of what happend to them back home" she said.

"What happend?" Jane asked.

Rebeckah sigh and stood up.

"My family and the Parkers knew each other since we were kids. The Parkers are very wealthy but Josette and her siblings never used their parents wealth. They liked to do their own things and their parents were happy to have children who had that set of mind."

"Josette grew up to be a very successful doctor and met Alaric, the twins father in the hospital when he hurt himself. They fell in love and next thing we knew she was pregnant with twins and they got married."

"Alaric was a professor in Mystic Falls but he grew tiered of it since the principal there was involved in something ilegal."

"So they decided to open a private school with kids who was runaways and who was cast away from their families or didin't have any families at all. My brother Klaus, Hope's father helped them built it and in return Hope started school there and they have been friends since then"

"We all knew about their girls crushes on each other. We thought they would end up together but to our suprise she ended up with Landon who she tried to brake up but he kept avoiding the subject. He knew about the girls feelings for one another but he didin't care about that as long as he got what he wanted" Rebeckah said.

"He wanted Hope, he was jealous of Josie because she loved her" Jane said and Rebeckah nodded her head.

"Yes.. and long story short he beat the shit at of her in her room leaving her to bleed to death and threatened my little boy Pedro because he witnessed it" the blond said.

"He got arrested and sent to jail but he escape once he found out that the girls was with us for the summer. The girls just got engaged 2 weeks prior his escape. He shot Josie and hit her chest and she died once in the table but manage to come back but she was in a coma for almost 2 months. Hope visit him and wanted answers. He was happy to kill her and Hope just lost it and hit him and in return he started to hit her and he stabbed her with a stick. Through the adrenalin she had in her body she didin't flinch. When he had stabbed her. She killed him in self defens" Rebeckah said with tears in her eyes.

"That summer was the worse summer for all of us. I had never seen Hope so lost and scared. She even lost the ability to eat and sleep. She refused to leave her side, we had to convince her to start her rehabilitation. Lizzie was just lost without her sister. The two girls couldn't stop crying for months. Alaric and Josette was so lost they couldn't work, sleep or eat." She continued.

Jane was trying to breath. She couldn't belive that this two girls went through so much and one of them did die. She closed her eyes and sigh.

"That was too much for 2 teens and both your family. I get why you guys want to keep them safe and all this security for them" the raven haired woman said.

"I have to keep them safe now that I'm gonna be here a bit more. That's where you come in. I need you to fill my shoes when I'm not here. I need you to keep them safe Jane, they mean a lot us" Rebeckah said.

"I assure you Rebeckah, Jane and I will keep them safe" Maura said standing by the door.

The two Detectives turned their heads and was met with Maura.

"I didin't mean to eavesdrop, I just wanted to see if you two would like to join me and the girls for lunch"

In which the two agreed.

A few days later Rebeckah sent a text to Jane asking her to meet up at the office apartment.

Rebeckah did some digging about the Machado family and what she found was a bit weird and concerned her.

Jane entered the apartment in into the office where she was met with stack of files and boxes. Papers on the desk and the floor. A whiteboard that's already being set up around the Machado family.

"Wow, your really have been busy" Jane says making the blond jump.

"Fuck Jane.. I didin't hear you come in"

"Clearly.. have you been here all day?"

"No.. I've been here since yesterday when I came back from New Orleans, I picked up some files from my office there" she stated.

"Okey Rebeckah.. let's just get you a shower and I will look into this and then you can fill me in on what you know" the blond wanted to protest but she knew that her partner was right.

"Yeah.. You're right.. I can do that" she left without a word and Jane started to read some files.

Rebeckah walked back in the office seeing Jane going through the files and making notes. She even noticed a few more connections had been added on the board.

"I ordered Chinese while you were in the shower and called my wife letting her know that I was gonna do a all nighter. She called your sister and was offered to stay upstairs with the others just to be on the safe side" the raven haired woman said without even looking up.

"That's good, I guess you find something more then I did"

"Yeah.. I did but you won't like my conclusions"

Rebeckah chuckled.

"There are bad and it has something to do with my family right"

Jane nodded and gave her a sad smile.

"You told me before that your family was helping your city so clean out all the drugs and other big ilegal crime families"

"Yeah we did and we still do. We can't find the remaining two families that has been distributed drugs to my city" 

Jane looked at her.

"Well I guess I figured that part out.

Jabe showed her what she found.

Rebeckah was pissed off and couldn't belive it. How did she miss this.

"You are good Rizzoli, how the hell did we missed this connection. Bloody hell Klaus is going to freak out and Alaric won't be happy about this"

"You need to have a family meeting because this is bigger then we thought. This is a massive operation"

Rebeckah nodded her head and finally started to fill the connection again.

She sent a group text to her family requesting their presence during the weekend and that included the Parker Saltzman family.

This was gonna be a long weekend.
