As the weekend came both the Mikaelsons and the Saltzman's went to New York to have the meeting that they where called too.

The girls was happy too see their entire family together since it was a long time they did that.

It was friday and Josie was assisting Doctor Torres at the OR2. They had a patient whom had been in a car crash and was about to lose their leg if they didin't try to fix it.

The operation took nearly 5 hours and Josie had all eyes on her to show the doctor and her fellow medical students how good she was and her mothers legacy.

Little did Josie know that her mother and uncel Kai was sitting in the room together with some of the other students watching her.

"She is good, very focused on what she is doing" a student said.

"Yeah.. I heard that her mother is a surgeon and that she got her skills form her" another said.

"Really? I thought her mom was a teacher in a private prep school for ritch kids" a guy said laughing.

"I swear she is lying her ass off just to get the doctors good side" this got the others to laugh. They where making fun of Josie just because of her background.

Kai was trying to keep his cool while Josette was holding her tongue from speaking.

To her surprise her old mentor was there looking for her and this got the entire room quiet.

"Oh.. Dr. Josette Parker, what s nice suprise to see you here" the old man said and everyone turned around to face her and Kai. Their faces was pale as ghost.

"Dr. Webster, it's nice to see you too.. it's been a while since I was here.. a lot have change" she said looking at him and back to her daughter.

"Aahh I see that your daughter is almost done with the operation. She has successfully done eight of them on her own with the assistance of other doctors ofcourse. You must be proud of her" he said smiling.

"My sister and I are very proud of Josie and her sister. They both are doing excellent in their profession. I'm happy that Josie took my sisters path" Kai said proudly.

"As my brother said we are proud of her and her sister. Me and her father are very proud to have another doctor in the family. Did you know that Josie wanted to be a surgeon when she was only six years old. She is a very bright young woman with a IQ of 200 and her sister 198. Everything they read only get stuck in their heads" she said proudly staring at her daughter.

Once they saw that the operation was done and she had just closed up Josette walked over to the intercom.

"Dr. Josie Parker Saltzman" she said getting everyone's attention. Josie looked up and saw her mom and uncel.

"Job well done Doctor" she said proudly. The young brunette ran out of the room as fast as she could.

Josette looked at everyone that was sitting infront of her.

"You know.. my brother here is a Detective as well as Josie's in laws. Also my daughter never needed my help or anybody else help to get where she is. All that is on her. I never wanted her to become a doctor in the first place but she insisted that wanted to be one. Just like me, helping others because it's the right thing to do" with that she was about to leave the room when Kai turned around to face them once more.

"Also.. her father used to be a professor in history but he quit his job to open a private school for homeless kids or kids that was never wanted by their families. That's where they went to school, they where never ritch, if I where you I would ask her instead of assuming things from others" with that they left the room. The other medical student was so scared that they didin't know how to move away from their spot.
