A week had passed and the Unit did a razzia at the places that was owned by the Machado's. They had arrested more then sixty people that worked for them but they couldn't find Ryan Clark or the Machado's.

The hunt for them was on and Jane promised to stay with the girls while Rebeckah and Kai was looking for the family and Clark.

The girls was getting annoyed at being home and so was the boys.

Hayley, Freya and Josette went to stay with the girls until everything was over. The mothers did not want to leave their children. 

Maura had Caitlin and Frankie who stayed with her until this was done. Frankie had asked to be moved to the Unit together with Jane, Korsak was gonna retire.

Rebeckah and Kai had agreed to let him be apart of the team but his job was to stay with Maura and Caitlin but they would switch from time to time.

The only time the girls and boys went out was to go for grocery but even that was limited since they pre ordered everything on the website but even then Jane or Tommy would pick them up from the lobby.

Josie was being restless. She missed being in the OR and work or real life patients and speak to others. She felt that her talet was going to waste.

"I can't be here anymore, I need to go back to school.. we all need to go back" the brunette said frustrating.

"I know sweetie but right now they just want you to stay alive" her mother said.

"I know but I'm getting crazy and I need to be out there with my mates and fix my grades and study. Mom how will I ever become a doctor if I'm stuck here and Lizzie a lawyer?" She asked her mother who just felt helpless that she can't let her adult daughters leave the house.

"Okey okey.. I will speak to your uncel and see if there is a way we can get you girls back to school" she said with a smile.

Meanwhile Jane found out that her ex boyfriend had indeed changed sides. He stayed in Peru and that's where he met Mac Machado. They became close and found out that they where romantically involved and probably that was why he turned sides and also they had a child together. All this information became too much for the Detective.

"So.. what did you find out" Freya asked her.

Jane looked at her with a very sulky impressed on her face.

"He fell in love with Mac and they have a child together and since the kid is not registered here I'm guessing she had it in Peru and that's why he is staying there" she said with a sigh.

"I'm sorry" the blond said and Jane shook her head.

"No need to be sorry. He made his choice and I got over it. I'm happy that I have Maura now. It just sucks that he became the bad guy" she said.

"So what's the plan now?" Rebeckah asked them.

"We take them red handed. They are still following the girls so why not just give them what they want?" Jane suggested.

"You want to use them as a decoy? No.. absolutely not" Kai said.

"We are not using them as a decoy.. I'm just suggesting that we use this as an advantage for us since they are still hung up on following every step they take" she said and that's when everyone understood what she ment.

"A suprised element that they didin't see. Now that I can work with" Kai said with a smile.

"We need to run it with them first" Freya said.

That evening everyone was gathered in the apartment and they told them the plan.

"I don't like this plan Kai but if this is the only option we have so far then so be it but as long as they are fine with it" Josette said and looked at her daughters who was just as quiet as everyone else.

"I agree with Josette, I don't like it and I don't want my only daughter to get killed but I know that she would do anything to keep the twins safe" Hayley said and looked at her little baby.

"We all agree to do this because we want this to end, we want our lives back without being scared and to look over our shoulder all the time" Lizzie said.

"We have to do this, no one else have a better idea" Hope almost growled.

"You promise that we won't get hurt?" Josie's voice was low. The look on her face made both Jane and Kai cringe.

They knew that they couldn't promise that but they had too.

Jane walked over to her and took her hand in hers.

"I can't promise you that because we don't know what they have planned but I can tell you this. I will do my best to keep you safe and make sure that nothing happens to you because I will be right behind you" she said and Josie just nodded her head.

"Okey.. okey.. yeah.." she mutters to herself.

"Okey so that's settled. We go ahead with the plan. Girls be prepared, we know that they will follow you for a few days but we want to be prepared if they try to do it tomorrow. There will be civilian agents at your classes and schools and around you. You won't know who they are but know that they are very close to you" Freya said and looked at them.

"I don't like this as much as your parents but this is the plan we have. I love you and want you safe. This is not easy for us as well" she reminded the kids.

Jane was still thinking about her ex. It was not that she wanted him back or that she still had feelings for him but she cared. They where friends long before they even started to date or even got together. A part of her really thought that they would have been married at some point but he had change once he got back from overseas.

She and Maura had  decided to move to one of the apartments in the same building as the kids. They where living in two doors down from the boys so if anything would happen she be there.

The girls and the boys started to go to their normal routine and go back to college.

The first day back after being gone for almost 2 weeks and to know what the stake of their lives have made Josie a bit scared to even walk alone but lucky for her Hope and MG had the office just next to Maura's so when she didin't have any operations at the moment and had patents to see she was with her girlfriend trying to catch up on the things she had missed and started to set up appointments with her patients. There was always 5 guards at their floor and even more civilians that was watching their every move.

Lizzie on the other hand was moved to Freya and Elijah's New York Law firm so she was safe since she was more or less in the office and was always dealing with cases and meetings while Jed and Kaleb was at their school knowing that they too had guards looking over them.

As predicted by Jane there was someone following the girls every move it was just in time before something would happen.

3 weeks later when Lizzie went to meet up her sister, Hope and Mg at the hospital. The blond knew that she was being followed and that she had this uneasy feeling in the bottom of her gut that something was about to happen and she had texted her twin about hens why she went to meet them up.

Hope and Mg was in the office when Lizzie had entered the room.

"Hey you okey? You seem a bit worried" Hope asked her best friend who looked pale.

"I think someone is following me and I don't mean our security guards" she said and sat down on the couch.

Mg looked at her worried and so did the red head.

"I text Jane and see if we can get out of here as soon as Josie is done" Hopw said while Mg started to pack their things.

Before Hope could even text the raven haired security Jane entered the room  with a serious face.

"The floor is on lockdown, someone came in with a gun and is now holding one of the OR room hostage" she said.

"Where is Josie?" Lizzie said with a worried voice.

"I don't know.. she is with Maura last time I heard" she said as she started to close the blinders and lights.

The panic that was on Lizzie was something Hope did not want to see. She just prayed that her fiancé was safe somewhere.
