Hope and the twins met each other when she was 9 and they where 7. Her parents thought it would be better for her if she moved to Mystic Falls because of their current situation in their city.
This was not an easy decision for her parents but she knew that her father's siblings had to convince him it was the right one.
She knew that she wouldn't be safe back in New Orleans. Even as a child she knew that she could be hurt by bad people. That's the maine reason why her family started training her in hand to hand combat and every material arts they could ever think of. She even knew how to shoot a crossbow and a bow.
They wanted her to have a normal life and to interact with other children and not only adults.
Before they had left for Virginia her parents had a talk with her. They explained what was happening and that it was not a good idea for her to be in New Orleans at that time.
Her mother had packed her bags and she was allowed to pack 5 things that was special to her.
Hope had picked the coloring set she got from her father and some canvas that she had. A ring that her grandmother gave her before she passed away. She took some of her family pictures that she had in her room and last Mr. Bear that she got from her late uncel Henrik.
She said her goodbye to the rest of her family. She couldn't help to cry but she knew why she had to leave.
Her family wanted to keep their heir alive and safe.
