When You Came

Chapter IX

I do not tend to tease anyone. I am used to my quiet life. I only speak when I have something to say or when someone talks to me, that's how simple my life was. But right now, everything seems to be reversed. I never thought that my simple curiosity about a mysterious woman in my eyes would change my simple quiet life.

I have never chased a woman before or worried like this except for my mother. Maybe they are right, when you started having an interest in someone, you will gradually change according to how you want to be close to that person.

Seeing her being frightened and in pain like that is making me really mad. But the problem, I don't know who I should be angry with cause she obviously doesn't wanna talk to me about it. But because I am determined and I do not want to worry about doing nothing anymore, call me crazy but I would linger around her more until she starts getting used to it and opens up with me.

At lunch, I saw her again in her favorite spot. I quickly grabbed some food and sat down in front of her. She stopped eating and was shocked to look at me but I just smiled and act innocently.

"What do think you're doing?" she asked me with a frown.

"What? Is it bad to sit here and eat?" I shrugged.

"Migo--"

"How long you have you known about me?" I cut her off. She swallowed and quickly averted her gaze. "You know you can't runaway from me. We're in the same school and same class."

She closed her eyes tightly and glared at me.

"Why are you suddenly acting this way?"

"If you knew what I've been doing then you should know!" I whispered loudly to her. "I can no longer stop haliyah. Who caused those bruises to you?"

"Look migo, not because I'm talking to you right now, it means that I allow you to meddle in my life. If that is what you think then I'm telling you, you are mistaken." she stood up quickly so I held her hand. She stopped and look at me.

"Why do you keep pushing people away? If this is all that's going to happen, then why do you have to look so beautiful in my eyes even if you are not doing anything?" I also stood up and met her eyes. "You disturbed my quiet life. You took my interest and concern. Don't you think you're way being too irresponsible for pushing me away like this?"

Irritated, she took my hand away. "It's not my fault if you're like that, so don't tell me to be responsible for something I don't care at all."

She started walking away so I preceded her in walking then I smiled.

"Why are so difficult? But don't worry. Things won't end here just because of everything you said. Remember, with me around? You can be as vulnerable as you want. I would gladly lend you my shoulders to lean on." I winked at her before I walked away.

Goooood! Where did those confidence came from? Fvcking hell! It was like I wasn't the same person I am earlier! Oh shit!
