"No. We're taking out Alubarna today."

Koza's denial rang heavy in Hiriko's ears as she jumped from one building to the other. The scarred blonde was quick to turn down her proposal after she had finished speaking. He even went as far as to personally throw her out of the tent. Well, he gently guided her out to be more accurate. He was strangely gentle for someone of his size and rumored brutality. He handled her with extreme care as if she was made of porcelain, but that was beside the point.

After his denial, Hiriko figured all she could do was slow them down. So, with Vivi's determined expression vivid in her mind, she stole all their weapons and dumped them into the river and freed all of their horses. In short, she successfully robbed them of all the materials needed for a battle.

It wasn't the noblest act she had ever done, and it certainly weighed heavily on her conscience, especially since she knew they weren't bad people and they were doing all of this to protect their country. Yet, they didn't seem to be willing to listen to reason at this point. She had done what was necessary.

With her newfound resolve, Hiriko sped up her pace, approaching the center of Rainbase with overwhelming speed. After making sure she had bought Vivi and the rest of the crew enough time, Hiriko immediately set off towards Rainbase, planning to regroup with the guys and discuss a more thought out plan.

She was perhaps only a few dozen buildings from reaching Crocodile's casino -- the building they had all agreed to meet up in -- when she heard it. It was a shrill scream that tore through the day, reaching Hiriko's ears as it climbed above the noise of the bustling city. The voice was terrifyingly familiar.

'Vivi!'

Without a moment of hesitation, Hiriko stopped herself mid-jump, ricocheting off the wall and heading towards another direction, from which she had heard Vivi's pained cry.

The sight that awaited her was one that had her blood boiling. Vivi laid helpless on the roof of a big building, her expression contorted into one of excruciating pain yet she still yelled out to another person on the roof. Probably a man, Hiriko guessed, he donned a long white gown and white headpiece, but his face was hidden from her view as he was laying motionlessly with his front pressed into the rough stone of the roof.

A woman, with a slender yet voluptuous frame towered above Vivi. Her skin was slightly tan, the shape of her eyes sharp and narrow, her nose defined and contoured, her face long and her lips thin but plump. She wore a purple two-piece. Her top was a sleeveless purple crop-top with a line of intertwined string keeping it secure in the front. Her bottom was a short purple skirt with frayed detailing on the ends. She wore a matching purple hat and purple boots along with it. She had a look of amusement as she gazed at the fallen form of the princess.
