The five boys eyes were glued to the two half naked girls, laying out in front of them. The sun shining down on the girls made them have a beautiful hue around them.
The sounds of Bust A Move by Young Mc was heard in the background, the girls each had a pair of glasses laid over their eyes, shielding them from the glare of the sun.
The girls were aware of the boys gawking at them intently but they just ignored it.
Violet tilted her head slightly to look at Beverly, who was tapping her fingers to the beat.
"So you like Bill, huh?"She whispered to the redhead, causing said girl to open her eyes and look at the brunette.
"And you like Richie, right?"She asked back, smirking when she saw the blush appear on the girl's face.
"I don't like Richie like that. He's just my best friend. Always have been, always will be."She stated, she didn't like lying to people, but it was true.
She may like Richie, she hadn't figured it out yet, and she knew that he viewed her as a friend and that's it, so she just brushed it off.
"Whatever you say. You wanna tease the boys?"Beverly asked.
"Hell yeah."
"Ok, on the count of three we move our heads towards the boys."
"You got it."
The girls counted from three with their fingers, then casually looked over at the boys, causing them to panic and look away quickly.
Richie quickly whipped his head behind his shoulder, his cheeks turning a light pink shade.
He cursed silently at himself, before looking back at Violet to see her smirking at him with her glasses on the bridge of her nose.
He looked down sheepishly, as if he knew that she knew that he was staring at her the whole time.
He quickly tried to get her eyes off of him as he lazily grabbed onto Ben's backpack and dug through it.
"News flash, Ben. School's out for Summa!"He said, putting his hand into a fist and pretending to be a news reporter.
"Oh, that? That's not school stuff."Ben replied.
Richie yanked out a postcard and looked at it with furrowed eyebrows, before looking at Ben with mischief in his eyes.
"Who sent you this?!"He asked, making Ben's eyes widen as he quickly yanked the card out of the Trashmouth's grasp.
"No one!"He replied before shoving it back into his bag.
Richie didn't stop there, though, Violet wasn't surprised at all. She knew him almost too well.
There were just a few things that she didn't know about. And Richie, himself, would like to keep it that way.
Richie pulled a blueish green folder out from Ben's bag, and rested it on his lap. Violet watched from afar, admiring Richie's features.
"What's with the history project?"Richie asked, shooting a glance at Ben, before looking back down at the overflowing packet.
"Oh, well, when I first moved here I didn't really have anyone to hang out with so I just started spending time in the library."Ben answered.
Violet felt a shoot of guilt hit hard in her stomach. He didn't have any friends, before he met them.
She would've been his friend, but she didn't really go to the library all that much, mostly if she were to go she would go for schoolwork.
"You went to the library! On purpose?"Richie joked, making Violet smile, even if he didn't notice.
