Violet's dark colored bike dropped to the ground on Ben's freshly trimmed lawn, as soon as she pulled up.Richie dropped his right next to her, then he shot her a cheeky grin, and she instantly knew that he was up to something.
"Ok, what are you planning?"She asked, raising an eyebrow to him.
"Oh, nothing."He replied, pushing his glasses up the brim of his nose once again.
"Sure."She playfully rolled her eyes before walking into Ben's house and up the stairs to his room, leaving behind Richie.
He quickly realized that she wasn't next to him, and he ran after her.
"Violet, you're not supposed to leave me outside like that."He shouted up the stairs
"Looks like I just did."She shouted back, before walking into Ben's room.
He sighed, then ran up the stairs after her, she could hear the thundering of his footsteps catching up to her, making her chuckle lightly in amusement.
Until the two met up at the door of Ben's room. The two walked in side by side and gawked at the walls.
The walls, the desk, his bed, and so much more.
Were filled to the brim with the histroy of Derry. Newspaper clippings, missing children sheets, projector slides, and so much more.
"Woah. Oh, wow!"Richie exclaimed.
"Cool, huh."Ben said as he leaned on his closet door, as if he didn't want the group see what was inside which would be correct.
She respected that however if she were in his position. She wouldn't want anyone to snoop in her room if she didn't know them all too well.
"No, no, nothing cool. There's nothing cool!"Richie said, sarcastically.
Violet knew damn well that he was indeed interested in the history, maybe not much but he was interested she could tell.
"Oh, wait. This is cool, right here. Oh, wait never mind it's not cool."Eddie said pointing at something, but then immediately regretted it.
"Edward be nice!"She snapped at him narrowing her eyes at the smaller boy.
He looked at her in disbelief, before looking in between Richie and Violet and realized something.
"Oh, so you get onto me, but you let Richie slip. Violet that ain't right!"He exclaimed at her.
"At least he seems interested in looking at this, and not insulting Ben for the things that he loves doing."She replied, rolling her eyes at the small boy.
"Whatever."Eddie dropped it.
"What's that?"Stanley asked as he pointed at something on the furthest wall.
Violet walked over and stood next to Stanley to take a closer look at what he was pointing at. It looked like an old piece of paper with a bunch of different signatures.
Richie followed and stood right next to her, their fingers grazed making them both blush a light pink.
"Oh, uh, that's the charter that made Derry township."Ben explained, as he crossed his arms.
"Nerd Alert."Richie spoke, pushing his glasses up his face.
"Says himself."Violet shot back before looking back at Ben."Continue, please."
"No, actually its really interesting Derry started out as a beaver trapping camp."He explained, taking a glance at his wall.
"Still is, am I right, boys!"Richie said, turning to Eddie and Stanley with his hand held up high in the sky.
