Chapter 26: Must Get Out

You decide to try to get away.

You struggle and scream, but you have no luck.

You're lucky enough to break loose of one of the men's grip on your left ankle.

Instead of picking it back up, he grabs your right calf, his other hand still on your right ankle.

He snaps your leg so you can't escape.

You cry out in pain.

You see metal go through one of the men's head.

He drops you and so does the other one carrying you.

Before you can come in contact with the ground, you feel a pair of arms wrap around you.

You look up.

"Blue!" You say.

"My name's Leo, actually." He said.

"Okay, Leo, can you get me out of here?" You ask.

He nods.

He picks you up and quickly heads towards an alley.

"Why are we at a dead end?" You ask.

He doesn't reply, and pulls up a manhole cover from below you.

"We're going in there?" You ask.

He nods.
He carries you down.

You come upon what looks like the cranky-things (sorry, don't know what they're called) you see at an airport.

He goes in and sets you on a blue couch.

A wave of pain comes, you scream, then it goes away after a minute.

"Just sit still, and I'll try to relax. I'll help you a much as I can while we wait for Donnie to get back." Leo says.

You nod.

"Who's Donnie?" You ask.

"He's my younger brother." He replies.

You make an "o" shape with your mouth.

He goes to get you some water.

Another wave of pain goes through your leg.

You scream and Leo comes right to your side.

He squeezes your hand.

"It's gonna be alright, just hang in there." Leo coos.

About 3 more waves of pain come.

Just as the 4th one starts, the others walk into the lair.

You start screaming in pain again.

The others run to your side.

The purple clad runs off somewhere and comes back with supplies.

He cuts open your pant leg and you wince as you see your leg.

It's swollen, twisted, and extremely red.

The purple clad winces, the orange clad hides behind Leo, and the red clad just has an awestruck face.

"I need to mend your leg, but it's gonna hurt. I'm gonna have you grab onto Raph and Leo while I do this." The purple clad says.

You nod, and grab onto Leo and the red clad, who apparently is Raph.

He starts to work, and it takes every ounce of your being not to scream.

You squeeze their hands as hard as you can.

You let out little whimpers uncontrollably, and every time you do, Leo rubs your back gently.

"You're doing great." Leo encourages.

After about 5 minutes, your leg is mostly mended, and there's a cast on your leg.

You lay back down and breath slowly.

"You're one tough girl." Raph says.

You close your eyes and wait for the pain to go away completely.

Once it's mostly gone, you sit up.
4 worried faces are looking at you.

"I'm fine now." You say.

"Your leg was broken pretty badly." Donnie says.

"I definitely felt it." You say.

"I would like for you to stay here so you can heal, but if you need to go home, you can go, but I need you to check in with me at least once a week." Donnie says.

What would you do?

Go home, or stay?
