Chapter 18: You're Too Scared

You scream really loudly.

The one in purple backs away a little.

You try to get up, but instantly regret it.

"Please don't move! We won't go near you, just please lay down!" He says worriedly.

You lay back down.

You close your eyes.

'This can't be real. It's all a dream.'

You think to yourself.

You open your eyes again.

They're still there.

You close your eyes again.

'Maybe, if I don't look at them, they'll go away.' You think.

A minute later, one of them spoke up.

"Is she asleep?" You hear one of them say.

"No, she's just scared, Mikey." Another one says.

'So one of their names is Mikey.' You think.

You open your eyes.

"Can I come closer?" The one in blue asks in a soft voice.

You don't answer him.

"Please?"

You reluctantly nod your head.

He slowly comes closer to you.

He kneels in front of you.

He puts his hand on you head.

You flinch.

"Hey, hey, hey, I'm not gonna hurt you." He coos.

You let him.

He starts stroking your head.

This seems to calm you down a little.

"Can my brothers come here?" He asks.

You nod your head.

They get around the couch.

The one in orange holds your hand.

The one in purple holds your other hand.

The one in red just sits next to you.

After a minute, you know that they won't hurt you and you trust them.

"What's your name?" The one in blue asks.

"(Y/n)." You say.

"Hello, (y/n), my name's Leo."

"I'm Donnie." The one in purple says.

"Raph." The one in red says.

"Are you Mikey?" You ask.

"Are you phychic??" He asks with a huge grin.

You give him a small smile.

"No, I heard someone call you that earlier." You answer.

"My side hurts." You say.

"Do you remember what happened?" Donnie asks.

You think for a minute.

Tears form in your eyes.

"Oh yeah, I got stabbed." You answer.

You are able to hold back your tears.

"Do you want to do something to take your mind off of it?" Leo asks.

"Sure." You reply.

"What do you wanna do? Play video games with Mikey, or watch Spaceheroes with me?" Leo asks.

What would you do?

Play video games with Mikey, or watch Spaceheroes with Leo?
