"Miss?" The one in a blue mask says.
You just stare at them.
The one in purple kneels in front of you.
You flinch.
"We won't hurt you." He says softly.
You still stare at him.
"Can I take a look?" He asks.
You think about it for a minute and then slowly nod your head.
He reaches for your leg.
You get into a position that he can see your wound in.
He puts his hand on it.
You cry out in pain.
He quickly pulls his hand back.
"I'm sorry, I won't touch it anymore." He says.
"If it's okay with you, I'd like to take you back to where we live so that I can patch you up." He told me gently.
What would you do?
Trust the people you just met, or go home?
You decide.
