IRENE'S POV

"Alessa Blanco y Romero."

This couldn't be more surreal, I shouldn't be fooling myself with it either, but it would be more disturbing knowing that I never told her the specific details of that woman. In one of the 7.8 billion people around the world who would have thought that the name would be introduced to us identically on our own daily dreams that supposedly to sound normal to what other people had.

This seemed to be getting more suspicious, her, Alessa and Lorraine, who the hell are they? Why are they lurking in our dreams, what are the things that they were trying to say on us? There were a lot more people in this universe. Why would they pick me? Pick us?

"She's unique, a quite strict person, but she's lovely." My heart skipped a beat as I heard her perception of that woman, she seemed to be also indulged with her dreams too, but, could it be more likely just a coincidence to have such a certain feelings like that? That lingering kind of emotion that seemed like you're longing for those words for years now that it almost been stuck on you after it came out, it sounds crazy, I might be insane, but that's how it felt.

"Remember the session?" I started, I couldn't just let this pass. She was the only person I could tell this too. "The dreams that I had?" She became silent for a while, it gave me a time to continue. "The way you spit every single syllable of her name sounded exactly the same as what that Lorraine called her." I silently laugh. "It might be a shared dream wha-?"

"Absolutely not a shared dream, we're not even close friends nor siblings Ms. Bae." Seulgi stood up, she fixed her hair and stepped down the stairs.

"Lorraine, don't leave me." My mouth uttered out of nowhere, the urged and the thundering beats were almost coming out of my chest, at the same time, it grew tighter as the air thickened around us, I watched her stood frozen on her feet. From her back, I could sense the tension growing inside her.

"What did you just say?" She asked still on her back. "What did you call me?

"I said, Lorraine, don't leave me." My mind was telling me to go walk towards her, but my body did not want to respond to the kinetic energy that my brain wants to send, my blood boiled when she turned around to face me.

"I'm not Lorraine." I felt my heart burst into pieces as she took every step away from me. Was it even possible? To feel this unbearable pain inside? It's fucking deadly, Seulgi and Lorraine seemed to be holding the same venomous hurt they've caused to Alessa from the past.

Was it even Lorraine who caused them the pain?

"I'm sorry..." She wiped the blood out of her mouth, the cold breeze of night was combined with the painful tears of sky, Alessa hugged her tight not minding those mud and bloods staining her dress that could be enough to prove her guilty.

"T-Te odio..."

"Wait." She tilted her head to the side, while her hand was reaching for the coat she had put on the couch earlier. Irene shouldn't be doing this but her insides were urging her to plot something, something that will cause both of their old and current worlds to collide.

The older woman abruptly walked towards the psychologist, her hands were fast enough to land on her wrist as she then grabbed the collars of her shirt. "What the hell do you want?" Seulgi asked, her breathing remained stable and calm but clearly a world down her was about to erupt.

"You." She smashed her lips towards Seulgi. The war inside them started, igniting a furious rage of fire that was slowly eating them. "You shouldn't have turned your back." Irene pushed her off to the couch, laying her flat and panting for her breath. "Because no one could ever do that to me."
