SEULGI'S POV

"Seulgi-yah, as much as she wanted to come and go with you tonight, Irene-unnie was sent to the hospital, she collapsed a few minutes after we left your clinic."

I know she can't, obviously, her pale lips that she might thought to be usual with her white porcelain skin aren't normal for her age, her clear lack of iron was one of the reasons I guess, also, the sleepless night she shared. The nightmares. Things might had gone too rough for her to handle. She's been a CEO for a very young age and the pressure of her family persuading her to get married to someone she did not even know and other excess problems she have with her weren't enough for her small body to handle.

She wasn't that strong.

"Ms. Kang?" A head suddenly appeared in front of me, I did not even know that I'd been spacing out. Head's occupied with unknown presence I guess. "I'm sorry to interrupt you but Ms. Son called the clinic's telephone, she said that you're not answering her calls, she was asking if you could come and take a look for Ms. Bae on her condominium, she also said that you're the only person she can root for her, she also added that Ms. Bae did not want to tell her parents either." From that hardcore night at that certain club, I was abruptly hired as her personal Uber driver and now, I'm going to be a hired as a personal baby sitter of someone that once again I barely know.

It might be just one of the called 'perks' that Wendy had been talking about, being the person they could go if they needed to do so. "Can you go buy me a basket of fruits and an iron drink? After you arrived, we'll be closing the clinic early. Can you also cancel all of my appointments in the next two days? Tell them to set it for another day, you can also go to main for that short span of time, I will just call you when I already needed your help again." She nodded her head, this woman had been working for me throughout my career as a psychologist, but before I could met her, she'd been working as the assistant secretary of my brother's secretary in our main clinic.

"Ms. Kang?"

"Yes?" She pointed to my phone sitting on my table.

"You have a call." And with that she left. I looked down to my phone to be welcomed by an unregistered number, as much as I wanted to answer it, there were lots of circumstances that even my patients had invaded my personal phone number to schedule their tests even though they knew they could have just called our hotline or visit our page, it's not that they were wasting my time, but I also need to have my own space away from the profession I have, life did not only mean about having a work and money, your own well-being also needed some small amount of attention hence of the skimpy time you have. I ignored the call and went back to the things I needed to do but a few minutes had passed when a series of messages blew up my phone.

"Irene had been trying to call you, why the hell aren't you picking up?"

"Are you banging someone right now? Dude! Calm your hormones."

"She's alone, I'm really sorry to stress you out with your time Seul but I do really need someone to look for her, I can't trust that woman to take care of herself alone, knowing that bitch was a hell of a workaholic person."

It was Wendy with her robotic hand, I guess having a small friend as your mini arm chair wouldn't do when their hands itself were also a monster as what her mouth is. "Give her a call." She added before she stopped messaging me. I guess I really need to follow her. After a few more rings she picked up, a hoarse voice welcomed me.

"Hello, it's me Seulgi, Wendy had been messaging me, are you okay?"

"I feel hell, I'm sorry to call you, she asked me to do so, I thought I've called the wrong number since you did not answer."
