SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, VELVET FRAGRANCE MAIN BUILDING, MARCH 29, 2020

The door slammed open revealing a woman with bleached short-hair in her casual attire. She marched down to the presidential table before taking her aviator sunglasses off, Wendy then let her body fell to the visitor's chair to catch up for her breath. Her friend who was sitting across from her seemed to sit there unbothered by her presence as she just continued to review the stock sales of the month, as if it was just another normal day for the two of them. A usual scene in the office where a small bean rolled out of nowhere to disturb her throughout day.

"What's the matter?" She asked while she kept her head down. Irene Bae was totally obsessed with her status as the 'CEO and president' of her family's company. "There were a lot of things piling up here inside and out of the company Wendy, just go somewhere and find someone you can disturb. I need to finish all of these today, understand?" The jobless heir of Son Enterprises looked at her in disbelief, it was totally obvious that her dear friend forgot about what's special for today.

"Does your father or even your whole family hypnotize you so that you forget today's event?" She asked. The CEO raised her brow and gazed at her, her eyes wondering what she was talking about. "You're getting married? You're engagement party? Congrats, but I still need to finish this Wendy." She said, completely unaware that it was her day, the young Son shook her head and pouted.

"You look like a squirrel who begs for nuts." They fell laughter from what the woman had commented. "I swear just tell me straight to the point so I can finish all of these." She ordered before going back to her work.

"Stand up, let's grab something to eat for lunch. Are you craving for something? 'Cause I'm literally dying for Spanish cuisine absolutely right now." Wendy said before she grabbed her hand. The president let Wendy do what she wanted knowing that no matter how much she said no, it was always been yes for the younger. Irene was always been that 'older sister figure' for Wendy, they might not be related to each other but that wouldn't stop her there. Bae got such a huge family but she seemed to be placed nowhere to their home, besides it was always been that the same person who had been with her through ups and downs and her name was Wendy Son.

"I think we've already passed by to your favourite restaurant." She said looking at the outside while pointing at Las Casas del Fuego, a five-star fine dining restaurant that had been built for over twenty plus years. It served the best open house paella that everyone in Seoul had gone crazy for after tasting the mouth-watering taste of it. "We're going to your house." Wendy announced as she stepped on the gas making her car accelerated faster to the raging traffic.

"LOOK AT THE SIGNS, YOU IDIOT!" The president shouted as she gripped on her seatbelt as if her life had depended on it. Fast speeds always made her heartbeat gone crazy, it always felt like she was inside the race that she did not know where or when it will going to end. It always made her feel dizzy or sometimes unlucky enough to loss her own consciousness.

The ride ended Irene's stomach.

Just short after she stepped inside her house she abruptly admitted herself to her bathroom, wasting every single pack of her energy to the sink. "You know what eonnie? You're getting old but your fear never goes with your age." Wendy said leaning her back to the door's frame. When the younger got into the freshman year in college, she always let her hitched a ride with her but Irene always ending vomiting at the back of her car just after they arrived in the university's parking lot. Guess someone never changed as the time passed by. She rolled her eyes and chuckled as she watched Irene who was still leaning down to the sink. "Take some deep breath and change your clothes to make yourself comfortable, we're going out maybe a three or five hours from now." She said before she made her way out of the comfort room.
