CHAPTER 13: RID OF HER

The brown strands of sunrise rose up as she greeted the morning people of the town, busy with their own worlds with just people walking passed to each other as they found their way to work, on the other hand, Kim Junmyeon woke up earlier than expected as he prepares himself to start the day by calling her sister to gather all of the professionals to come and meet him at the restaurant downstairs.

Last night he arrived at the tavern bothered with the thought of Irene, crying herself in her sleep, though he doesn't need to care at all but he's not that heartless to ignore someone like that, but then, Irene insist not to talk about it as she made an excuse for herself that it had always been like that since then.

Walking passed to the other rooms, he came across to her sister's. He knocked, a few seconds after, a face peeks at the side of the door, her hair still in disheveled state and her monolid eyes were still half-way open "Ms. Kang." He called her by his monotonous voice, she looked up, shocked to see the older psychiatrist standing in front of her door.

"Do you perhaps know where my sister is?" Junmyeon asked, well in fact he already knew where she was. Seulgi shakes her head. "She told me to prepare myself to go down stairs and meet the others for your arrival." She stepped out of the room and locked it.

The bared face Seulgi Kang turns around to face him, she cracks a brow, while her thoughts wonder why Kim Junmyeon remains standing in front of her. "Do you need something?" She asked.

Contemplating, he remained silent, his head flew back to the proposal she offered a month ago, Junmyeon really needed help as the news about his marriage to the heir of Bae's were about to reach his woman's ear. His unborn child's life is on sake, and he doesn't want to reach to some point that the life living in his woman's womb would die because of this disaster that their families were trying to write on their palms.

Seulgi fakes a cough and looks at him. "How's life? It's been a while since the last time I have seen you." She asked, fixing her hair by combing it with her hand. "How's her pregnancy?" She lowers her voice as she looks around to see any signs of known people walking around. Knowing about the problem that Jisoo's brother is holding, she didn't hesitate to jump on a plan to help him, as that was what she had promised to him.

Just like the past.

"I haven't seen her, I was prohibited by her father from seeing her as he told me that I was just causing a huge trouble to the child, the news had already reached her parents, and I always sweat bullets as I thought about her knowing the news."

They started to glide down the stairs as he continued to speak. "And now I was thinking about the time you offered to help me. I really do need help Kang, just do this to me once and I'll repay you for a lifetime."

"What is it?"

Junmyeon sighs. It is not the usual thing he does but this time, it would be needed to. "Help me get rid of Irene."

The laughter in the private feast of the group of clinical psychiatrists and psychologists invaded the walls of the restaurant as they finished their meals with plans of going to the project they planned to do inside the town. Junmyeon eventually started to discuss after he wiped his mouth with a table napkin. The projector automatically turned on revealing a familiar image of an old cabin.

"So the research that was handed to me will be discussed by two local psychiatrists followed by me and the rest of Jisoo's group." He started pinpointing out the members of her sister, including Seulgi, Jennie and Lisa.

"I think I've seen that yesterday." Lisa whispered to Seulgi. Kang remains silent as she had already connected the puzzles why they had chosen this town to make the research, it is to build an evidence of reincarnation and have proof that life after death from the past could have a chance to be held and transmitted to your new lifetime.
