A hand suddenly wrapped around the woman's arm as she attempted to stand up and follow the picker, Alessa furiously turned around to face Mateo, her eyes were shooting daggers but the man remained stable and calm. "Listen, if Emilia saw you following her or whoever workers of this hacienda, you two will be both dead." He said, his voice deep and serious.

"What are you trying to talk about? For sure you just want to get what my family had just to imply your part as your clan's heir, and I want you to know that you can't fool me with that." She attempted to take her arm from his grip but it went tighter, just enough not for her to let go. The young Rodriquez knew something and it would be more risky and dangerous if he would just let it happened. If ever the wedding would really be taking place a next few months, Mateo will be the one who would let the noblewoman be aware of her wicked actions from her own little games. "Let me go! Fuck you!" Her voice started to rise.

"Okay, I'll be letting you go if you're going to listen to my plan, understood?" Alessa couldn't do anything but to set aside her actions, the man slowly let go of her arm and motioned her to face him.

"Your papa and I had shared a talk earlier, he did confirm that Lorraine will be leaving sooner today, he also said that because of her you changed but to get it on exact word you were the one who changed yourself Alessa, Lorraine was just an excessed baggage you tagged along." He started, Mateo kept his voice low to make sure no one will be able to find out about their plan, he was determined to help her since he knew to himself that he was just living in the same plot as the woman. He wanted himself to be freed to the life that his parents drew without his permission, he wanted to be a father to someone who seemed to be far from his story right now. "You weren't acting the same way as what the others had thought, the mask you were wearing had been broken after you saw her enter to your life, you were the one who killed the old version of yourself Alessa, Lorraine never needed to face the blame that you managed to put in your father's mind."

Alessa was left thinking about the things she had done together with Lorraine. The first night they spent and how they up sleeping together. She said. "Just go say what you were trying to point out Mateo."

The man sighed and continued. "I'll be helping her to stay here in the hacienda as that what you were trying to do but you need to stay away from her from now on." Mateo said, firm and serious as he watched the woman's eyes showed darkness after what she just heard.

"I can't."

"Then loss her today." He stood up, his tall figure had made the woman to look up to him. He warned.

"You better not put our family's name in vain before our marriage. Remember that."

"So you were really leaving?" Adelita asked as she helped her friend brought her things out of the cabin. "Lorraine, tell me, what were the things that had really happened between you and señorita? Mama had been also eager to make me stay away from you, was that really bad?" She asked as they were starting to walk, the monolid eye woman still remained silent as she kept on thinking of the words that her friend had told her from earlier, the scenes inside her head kept on repeating after seeing the noblewoman had let someone wrapped an arm to her small figure.

She's jealous when at the very first place she wasn't supposedly be feeling this away.

Especially because Alessa was a someone and she was just a no one.

She was just a past time.

"Lorriane." Her friend hit her shoulder. "Aren't you supposedly be talking to me?" She asked, the woman shrugged her shoulders and nodded for her to continue.
