"The fuck you in jail for,"I asked wiping my tears.

"Dezmon arrested me for assault / battery. "

"What you want me too do," I asked.

"Get me da hell outta here ,"he said before the phone hung up.

I got up as I put some sweats on.

He always doing shit ,I sighed as I got my keys and left out.

"What the hell you mean he can't get out tonight," I said as the officer shook his head.

"Ma'am I'm sorry but I can't help you. "

I ran my fingers through my hair as I bit my lip.

"Your names David right, "I said swinging my hair.

"That's what my nametag say. "

"Listen here smartass help me get my man out. "

"I told you I can't do anything Ma'am."

"Can I see him. "

"Visiting hours are between the hours of 9a.m. to 4p.m."

"Come on, I'm pregnant ,I'm starving, I want Dick and you telling me I can't see my nigga. "

"Y..Ma'am don't cry theirs alot of women pregnant that come in here everyday. "

"I don't give a fuck ,I brought bail money call your head chief or whoever and let me get him out. "

"Calm down theirs no need to yell, "he said dialing a number.

I went and sat down as I got on my phone and called Mama Sheila.

"Yeah they won't tell me nothing, I've been here damn near 3hours with no luck, the officer is so stupid  "I said loud enough for David to hear.

"I'll be there soon, "Mama Sheila said as I hung up.

Mama Sheila walked in the station mad pissed.

"Nicki what the hell is going on ,"she asked .

She had her slippers on and her hair tied .I could tell she had been in bed.

"I don't know all I know is August called and told me he was arrested. "

Mama Sheila walked over to David as they talked.

She then walked back over too me.

"Well. "

He said August's bail is set at $14,000 and after today it goes up.

"Goddamn and he could of fucking told me," I said as I counted the money.

I gave the money to Mama Sheila as she gave it too David.

She drug her feet back too me as she gave me a receipt.

"How did you change his mind? "

"I have my ways ,he still have to appear in court. "

I nodded.

"So your pregnant," she asked as I looked at her.
