Valentine's Day Part 1

I woke up as the sunlight blinded me.

"Michael close the blinds," I yelled.

"But I'm downstairs."

"So," I pouted.

He sighed as I heard his heavy footsteps climbing the stairs.

The sunlight started to fade as it became dark again.

"Thanks Mikey," I said looking at him.

He smiled as he started to walk back downstairs.

"Wait,"I said.

"What ?"

"Its Valentine's Day and you haven't got me anything. "

"Nope," he said as I rolled my eyes.

"Okay Michael get out."

"Did I hurt the Queens heart."

"Nope. "

"Yeah alright, "he said chuckling.

I rolled on my side.

I missed Auggie, I missed his annoying ass laugh ,and his accent.It's been almost a week and he still haven't reached out too me.I would call but then he'd win this game.

I felt Michael climb into bed with me as he wrapped his arm around my stomach .

"I got something for you and her,"he said.

Yes you've heard right August and I are expecting a girl,and with only a month left I wish we'd spend time more but oh well.

"Which is?"

"I can't tell you, I'd rather you see it instead."

I sighed .

"Okay Michael,"I said pushing him off me.

I hated how he's gotten so touchy,like nigga I don't belong too you.

I went into the bathroom as I did my morning routine.I looked like shit in the mirror and my hair was a fucking beehive, I was starving,and this damn baby keeps kicking the fuck out of my stomach ,and my feet were hurting I was ready to pop this baby out right now.

I got out the shower as I tried to wrap a towel around me.

 "Hello,"I said grabbing my phone pressing the answer button.

Michael kindly bought me another iPhone 6 ,and I just transferred my number to it.His ass was good for something.

"Hey Nicki , I was calling to see if you've seen August in the past two days."

"Mama I haven't seen or heard from August since the day I got my stuff and left ,all I know is he got into a fight with my boss."

"I know and I called the Police Station and they said he was bailed out that following night."

"Who bailed him out?"I asked.

"Keisha."

"And why the hell would she do that."

"Lord if I know,I never liked that girl."

"Mama did you call her and ..."

"I did she claims she left him at the station."

"Mama call the Police now,"I said hanging up.

"Is everything okay,"Michael asked giving me a heartattack.

I held my area and breasts ,as he widen his eyes and closed them.

"My apologies,"he said walking out as I closed the room door.

I quickly threw on a oversized tee and sweats with a pair of Nikes,I put my hair in a messy bun and grabbed my shades.I wasn't getting sexy for nobody.

I walked downstairs as Michael watched me.

"Surprise ,"he said as I watched the entire living room covered in roses and baby toys .

"Michael you shouldn't have ," I said taking my shades off wiping my tears.

"I wanted too ," he said as I hugged him.

"You going somewhere," he asked.

"Yes ,can you drop me off at Mama Sheila's."

"Why?"

"Cause August is missing and I'm not about to let him die whereever the hell he's at,"I said yelling at Michael.

He grabbed his keys.

"Calm down ,I'll take you."
