I ran outside as I quickly got in my Range Rover and sped off.

I called the Police and told them as much as I knew.

My vision blurred from my tears ,I wiped them as I went straight to Mama Sheila's house .

I cut my car off as I quickly got out and banged on her door.

"Do you know what time it is Nicki ,"Mama Sheila said opening the door.

"August… Girls… Break in..,"I said out of breath.

"Come in Come in ,"Mama Sheila said.

I walked in her house as I sat on the couch .

"Now whats going on ,"Mama Sheila asked.

"Some people with guns were shooting in our condo, August, YG, Ketchup … "

"You mean Mustard. "

"Yeah him were there with him and people started shooting in our house , he told me to leave ."

"Oh God ,"Mama Sheila said putting her shoes on.

"Where are you going, "I asked.

"To go turn some shit upside down. "

"You can't I call the Police. "

"I don't care, "Mama Sheila said.

I sighed.

"Come on now, "Mama Sheila said opening the front door.

Two detectives stood in front of us as my heart ❤ dropped.

"Mother of August Alsina," one detective named Andy asked.

"Yes, what has happened with my son. "

"Well can we come in ,"they asked.

Mama Sheila moved back as they walked in and she shut the door.

"Well ma'am we had deputies report to the home finding five dead including Officer Dezmon Jacobson the others have yet to be identified . "

"Seems like a shootout the home is a mess and filled with bullets and is now a crime scene ,"the other Detective said.

"What about my August ,"I asked as Mama Sheila squeezed my hand ✋ .

"He's been rushed to Sara James Hospital in the ICU word has it he isn't making any improvements and he has lost a lot of blood," Detective Andy said as I dropped my head.

Mama Sheila rubbed my back.

"It's gonna be okay," Mama Sheila words said.

"Gods not ready for my baby yet," she said softly.

I'd be damn if I loose two sons in the same year.
