Badboyhalo led Skeppy down the wide hallway, watching him carefully.

"Where are we going?" Skeppy asked curiously.

"To meet the others. They will probably be familiar to you since you knew their names and abilities as a mortal, but it is still a lot to take in."

They walked through something like a courtyard, but made of marble.
"Wait here," Bad said. "I'll introduce them to you one by one so you aren't overwhelmed."

"Overwhelmed? Why would I be overwhelmed? I can meet them all together."

"Are you sure? Gods can be intimidating, especially in groups."

"Yeah, I'm not afraid."

"Okay. Follow me."

They walked through an arch onto an open-air pavilion that had a lofty view of everything around them in every direction. Five people, or rather gods, were lounging on comfortable pillows on the floor, on an altar, or in the air.

Ten eyes went to Skeppy as he stepped onto the dais.

He swallowed nervously.

"Adopted another stray, Bad?"

This earned a chuckle from several of the gods and a glare from one.

"I'm offended Dream, you still think of me as a stray?"

The first one smirked, suspended upside-down above the ground; his clothes and hair drifted down around his mask and a red cloak hung from his shoulders.
"Do not be like that, a6d. You are like a baby kitten in my eyes."

"You act ungentlemanly, Dream." A feminine voice purred from her bed of luxury. The speaker was lying down but propped up on one elbow; she smiled coyly at a6d with beautiful yellow eyes under coiling pink hair. Her beauty was breathtaking.
"You look so cute when you are angry, a6d."

The one they called a6d complained from his place on the floor surrounded by petals and confetti; his voice was musical and sweet-sounding.
"I am six hundred and ten years old and I would appreciate it if you stop treating me like a child."

He turned to the new god, who was watching with wide eyes.
"What is your name?"

"Sk- Skeppy." He was hyperventilating.

"You don't look so good, Skeppy," a6d said.

"Are you okay?" Bad was concerned for him.

Skeppy's eyes were fixed on a6d, who twirled his finger in a circle and said, "You look pale."

All the gods watched Skeppy as he blinked dizzily and stumbled backwards.

"I'm-"
They never learned what Skeppy was going to say, because he lost consciousness and sank down to the floor.

A6d watched, amused, as Skeppy fell slowly to the floor.

"Oh my goodness." Bad crouched next to Skeppy and put a hand on his forehead. "I knew that was a bad idea."

"Why did he fall asleep?" George asked.

"I think he was scared. We affect mortals without realizing it sometimes."

"But I thought he was a god." George tilted his head curiously, his ram's horns curving to his cheeks.

Dream answered before Bad.
"He still thinks and acts like a mortal unconsciously."

"I will take him back inside. I think he needs more rest."
Bad effortlessly lifted Skeppy off the ground and carried him off the dais.

"Lovely having someone new." Finn said once they were gone.

"Over a6d already are you?" Dream asked.

"Hush." A6d's eyes were fixed on the ground where Skeppy had been.

He strode barefoot over the smooth marble floor inlaid with gold and stooped over something on the ground.

"What is it?" Finn asked, sitting up slightly.

"Diamond," a6d trailed his fingers over the small diamond circle embedded seamlessly in the marble. It was precisely where the crown of Skeppy's head had rested.

"Well, that'll annoy me for the rest of eternity." Sapnap rolled his head from his place on the outer edge. He continued sarcastically, "He couldn't have passed out in the middle, no it had to be unsymmetrical."

"Relax," said a6d, standing back up. "You can just ask him to fix it later."

"If he can," Sapnap shrugged his shoulders and turned his black eyes to the arch at the entrance to the dais. "He probably doesn't have a good grip on anything yet."

"You were not much better than him when you first got here; even worse in fact. You almost split this place in half with an earthquake," Dream teased.

"Oh, that was ages ago," Sapnap said. "I still could if I wanted."
The dais shook slightly and a distant rumbling could be heard.

"I will poke your eyes out," George threatened, "you know this is my favorite place."

"You could try." The rumbling got louder.

Then the sound of flapping wings echoed and magnified until a flock of mockingbirds ascended from behind George and clustered above his head.

Dream laughed joyfully.
"Let us fight, every god for himself-" he caught Finn's gaze- "or herself."

A6d rolled his eyes. "Leave me out of it."

"Finn? One versus one versus one versus one?"

"Dream, you are altogether too rowdy. Settle down, boys."

The birds receded and the rumbling stopped. Sapnap, George, and Dream looked disappointed.

"I think we are bored from sitting up here for so long."

At Finn's words George looked up.
"What did you have in mind?"

She looked sideways at Dream and he grinned.
"Let's go fuck with some mortals."
