Skeppy woke up slowly.

The first thing he registered was soft muttering next to him, like someone talking to themselves. The second was the smell of incense. The third was the feeling of his own gentle breathing, speeding up as he came to.

Gradually, he remembered the spinning dais and strange faces of the gods. Other gods. He kept forgetting that he himself was a god.
He opened his eyes and stared at the high marble ceiling.

Speaking of, let's try something.

He sat up and glanced around. He was in a different place from where he woke up the first time, but Badboyhalo was next to him again. This time he was sitting cross legged with his eyes closed and talking under his breath.

He must have felt Skeppy's eyes on him because he stopped and looked at him, concern in his crimson irises.

"Hey," Skeppy said.

"Hey. Are you feeling alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Skeppy slid off the bed he was on. "What were you doing?"

"Work-" Bad sighed- "the daemons always need guidance."

"Ok... where are we by the way?" Skeppy looked around.

He was next to a luxurious bed with sky blue pillows and fabrics that were all light and comfortable. There was a domed roof with a glowing orb floating at the center above his head and there were pillars all around the ceiling, supporting it. The space was open air, but under the roof was the large bed and many soft-looking cushions.

"This is your room. It is basic for now, but you can change it however you want."

"How?" Skeppy asked, drifting over to grasp one of many strands of ocean fabric wafting up with the soft breeze. They were different widths, all shades of blue and hanging around the circumference of the dome to give a small sense of privacy.

"Well, you can affect things around you by focusing; it will take time to figure out exactly how and practice it. There are limits to what you can do, but if you are creative-" he smiled at Skeppy- "then you can figure out how to use what you have to get what you want."

Skeppy swallowed. I don't think I'm very creative.

"How do I start?"

"Are you sure you want to? I think you might need more rest."

"Yeah I'm good. I don't need rest."

"Well-" Badboyhalo rocked backwards- "pick something and try to change it. I suspect you have an influence over metals and things of value, given that you're the God of Riches."

Sweet.

Skeppy maundered over to a decorative pile of stones on a small table.
He cupped one in his hands and stared at it intensely, mentally willing it to change.

Come on, do something.

The rock just sat stubbornly in his palms.

"Focus on what you want it to become," Bad suggested.

Skeppy glared at the rock and then closed his eyes and pictured it gold instead of dull grey.
He opened his eyes and-

Nothing. Still the same rock.

He frowned and made a frustrated noise. "It isn't working."

"Maybe try a different stone."

Skeppy dropped the first one on the ground and picked up a smaller stone. He squeezed it in his fist.
