Fly

A/N: This chapter will be longer then usual guys. Hold on tight, you're in for a ride!

"Ok, so what's your power?" He asked me.

"Huh?" I replied, even though I heard him properly. I felt the need to stall for some reason.

"I said, what is your power? Are you a mind reader, time traveler, teleporter...?"

"Oh," I started. I realized that flying was my power at that moment. "I can fly. Flying is my power." He grinned.

"Perfect, parfait! Ca c'est fantastique! We needed a few more people who can fly! That is just great! D'accord, what is your name?"

"Tessa. Tessa Bradely." I replied, confidently. I watched carefully as he logged the information on a free computer.

"Ok, Tessa, I will need to prendre ton photo, take your picture." He said, setting up a camera. I started to get used to his language switching, I feel for those who need to hear it all the time.

I smiled and said: "Of course!" I walked up to where he told me to stand, and I smiled directly at the camera. I tried not to force it and to do a natural smile. But of course, it backfired on me.

"Ok, perfect." I walked off, over to my mom and gazed at the word: "Processing..." written on the computer screen. I was still wondering about how everything worked in here...

"Age?" He asked, without taking his eyes off of the computer screen. "14." I replied.

He put that in an nodded his head. He asked for my phone number, location and more. Then, he got to the fun part.

"Vous deux," he started in French, "just so you know, this is a sleep in school. Ca veut dire que you are obligated to sleep here over the night, up until Friday, which you can leave home at the end of ze day. And come back Sunday night, sleep here and wake up Monday morning here for school. Capishe?"

It was hard to understand, but I think he meant that I can sleep here for the week, and Friday I can go home, I take the weekend off, and Monday I come back to school again.

I nodded my head and grinned my 100-watt smile.

"Good. Now ve shall do ze tour, ok?" I nodded again, this time keeping a straight face. "Ok, follow me now."

I walked alongside him, suddenly reaching a pair of stairs. We went up. "Here are where all the rooms are. You will be paired with a roommate who, not necessarily has the same power as you." I looked around. There were many rooms.

"This is the transport pad," he said, while we came to a sudden halt. It was a green pad, fitting about 3 people to step on at once, and there was a mini device, sort of like an iPad in front of the pad.

"You will step on here," he started, his accent mysteriously stopping, "and choose where you want to go on that device."

I narrowed my eyebrows and carefully stepped on it, hoping that this wasn't some sort of trick. Frederic, followed by my mom, stepped on the pad after me. "Choose." He said.

There were so many options! All of them were as followed:

Rooms, Waterpark, Arcade, Training Rooms, Cafeteria, Pool, Trampoline, Floor 1, Floor 2, Floor 3, Floor 4, Floor 5, Main Entrance, Main Exit, Power Shops, Buffet, Clothing Shops, Information Room, Guest Services, Student Help, Learning, Co-Ed, Gymnasium, Extra Help, Mix-Up, Special Needs, Power Learning Rooms, Power Rules Room, Dance Lessons, Acrobatics, Singing.

Wow. Just... wow! I couldn't believe my eyes looking at that list. "Your choice," he nearly yelled, startling me.

I knew i had to quickly decide, so i pressed Pool. It was at random, i just picked one of the first things i saw. The Pool seemed interesting. Suddenly, i felt a vibration. It felt... interesting. It just went through my body.

All of a sudden, my eyes were forced closed. I didn't mean to close them, the pressure just did that automatically. I heard a quick beep, and i re opened my eyes. Wow. I was at the pool. And they had a pool!

There was also a hot tub there. It seemed so neat!

I went back on and pressed rooms. I felt a quick vibration, and heard a beep. I was back in the second level, where the rooms are.

"Good job, you know how to use these. Now here is a map," he said, handing me a huge map. Wow, this school rocked! "use it wisely. I also have some more stuff for you, but your mom has to go first."

She came back to earth, and replied: "Oh, yeah. Ok, i'm going." And with that, she transported to the main exit and left.

"Ok," he started, cupping his hands out in front of him. He blew on his hands, and a bunch of stuff appeared in his hands. "Oh my god!" I said, shocked.

"Here is your credit card. You have 2000$ stored on it, don't try to pass that amount or else. Now, here are your room keys. Here is your arcade pass, your cafeteria card, your waterpark pass, and your trampoline pass. Bring those in when you want to go to those places." He handed all of those things to me, not knowing how difficult it was for me to carry all the things.

"And most importantly, here is your all around pass. Take good care of it. Whenever you want to go somewhere other then your places that you have separate passes for, you need to show it or else. Without that pass, you cannot go to power training, which means that you cannot do anything at this school. If you lose this, you won't get a new one. Understood?" I blinked at him and his words before nodding. He sure could speak a lot!

I took the pass, making sure not to drop it. It seemed extremely important, like he had just said. "This is your room. Go in. I'll be leaving, bye!" He said, before running down the stairs. He could have just used the transportation pad! I smirked at my thoughts, and then i glanced down at my key.

It was golden, and shiny, as if it were a special treasure. I put it in the key hole and turned it to the left, and opened the door.

My eyes widened seeing what was in the room.
