Moon's Pov...

We walked into Hope's house to see how Peacemaker was, and Kinkajou was the first one to talk. "Hi Hope! Hi Peacemaker! How's it been?" She asks.

Then, he looks over to us. His stare was cold. It immediately made me unable to move. All of us were thinking the same thing, even lowering the volume of Kinkajou's mind. Is he back?

Before we could ask, Peacemaker disappeared right before our eyes. "What happened to him?" Kinkajou asked. We all looked at Hope before she invited us inside. Peacemakers bed was soaked with tears.

"He doesn't remember who he was, but he knows. But that isn't what's bothering him, and he won't tell me. He also tells me he has special magic and apparently a more powerful source of physics defying energy called determination. He said it was like an override for magic, a booster and could use infinite power. I only believe the magic part for now, and I really have no idea how he could know but not remember. All I know is that he'd explain everything once I found out the truth." She said.

"What does that mean? Does he think we won't understand if he doesn't explain first?" Qibli asked as I heard a long list of possibilities arise in his head.

"So we need him to not use his animus magic!" Kinkajou said. "From what I was told, it was a different type of magic. More like powers Darkstalker gave him as a back up. So far he showed some form of telekinesis, conjuration and teleportation." Hope said.

So he made a backup for power but not for his memories. I don't exactly believe that. Before I could talk however, Peacemaker teleported back into the room. The moment he saw us however, he started trembling, and holding himself and his scarf.

He had a few tears in his eyes, as he rapidly breathed repeating, 'It's okay.' I slowly walked over to him, before wrapping my wings around him in a hug. "You keep saying that, but are you sure you're okay?" I ask.

It takes a while for him to respond, but finally he answered. "No. Not in the slightest. But I have to get through it." He said seeming to struggle to find his voice. As he says this, there's a cracking sound coming from his chest.

I look down to see a colorful heart surrounded by an even more colorful aura. This heart had cracks growing on it. Before I could inspect it further, it was sent across the room, and when it stopped, a dark aura suddenly surrounded it. The heart seemed to be pulsating as if it was about to burst at any moment.

I don't know why, but I knew that if that heart broke something bad would happen. Suddenly it glowed green in the black, and suddenly disappeared. When they were gone I looked down at Peacemaker who looked surprisingly pale before his skin returned to normal. However, he definitely fainted.

"He's out, but what was that?" I asked. Everyone else looked shocked. "I'm not sure if this is possible, but if his soul felt enough stress and he can manifest items through magic, maybe his soul took up a physical form which he immediately used his magic to keep it together." Qibli said.

It was certainly possible, but what level of emotional stress must he be going through for his soul to manifest a physical form?
