**Third Person POV – Weasley Home**
Mister and Mrs. Weasley sat at the table in their humble home waiting for the minister of magic to return with their son. It had been a week since they had been told of Ronald’s involvement with the dark plans to kill Hermione and Draco. They were completely appalled. They had raised their children to avoid being involved with such things.
Mrs. Weasley leaned back in her chair and sighed as she swirled her tea in its cup. “I thought we raised him better than this.” She muttered staring blankly at the tea.
Mister Weasley reached over and patted his wife’s hand, “We did raise him better than this, he chose to do this, and it’s not our faults.” He said trying to ease her guilt.
“He is in so much trouble when he gets home.” She growled standing up and emptying her cup in the sink.
“Molly, he will basically be a muggle when he gets here, the most we can do is ground him. The minister said they’re just taking away his ability to do magic.” Arthur Weasley said standing up. “He’ll be able to have his powers returned when the ministry sees fit.”
Molly gave him a hard look, “What do you mean?” she asked having not been aware of that.
He sighed; he’d forgotten the ministry hadn’t told her. “The minister said that if Ron changes, back to how he was before, there is a chance that they give him his magic back. They’ll store his magic essence in the ministry.” Arthur explained tiredly.
Molly took in this information with a scowl. She wasn’t sure what had possessed Ron to act in such a way, but she damn well was going to get some sense into him.
A knock at the door signaled the arrival of Minister Kingsley and Ron. Arthur gave Molly a ‘here goes nothing’ look and went to answer the door.
“Ello’ Kingsley, do come in.” Arthur greeted stepping aside for the minister and his son to enter the house.
Ron stood in the middle of the living room looking deathly pale. His flaming red hair stood out even more than it had before. Having his magic removed had definitely taken a toll on him. He looked around the room before sitting down slowly unsure of what to do.
Kingsley handed over Ron’s wand to Arthur and gave him a sympathetic look, “I know it’s not easy, but it’s for his own good. I know you and Molly raised your children better than this, young Mister Weasley has just fallen off of the path.”
Arthur nodded his head and glanced at Ron. It was upsetting that one of his children had done something like this. Shaking Kingsley’s hand he opened the door for the minister to leave. Upon closing it he turned back to his son, “What is going on in that head of yours son?” he asked standing before Ron and crossing his arms.
Ron looked up at his father and sighed, “Jealousy. She broke up with me and then next thing I know she’s saving Malfoy.”
“That’s no reason to do what you did to her. You nearly got your own sister killed as well as Hermione and Draco. Nothing is fixed with violence and you know that.” Arthur snapped rubbing his eyes with his hand.
Before Ron could say anything his mum walked into the room looking rather pissed off. Looking over at her drained son her face softened for a moment as she reached over a squeezed his shoulder. Then her look turned to stone again, “You have disgraced this family Ronald Weasley.” She said shaking her head sadly.
“I didn’t mean to mum… I was just… jealous.” Ron said starting to get up.
Molly raised her hand and he took it to say he’d better remain seated. Slowly lowering himself back down he waited for them to say something.
