The next day. (Saturday)
7:35 am, Toni's house
Diezel- mom!!!
Toni- yes diezel
Toni walks into diezel's room and stands in the doorway.
Diezel- is there anyway that you could see if uncle Ken would let me sit in on one of his studio session for a class project?
Toni- yea, I have to meet him this morning anyways so I'll ask then.
Diezel- thanks, you're the best.
Toni- you're welcome, are you going to the boys house this weekend or your dads?
Diezel- I might go over dads, if I do then I'll be back home Monday after school. But, if I go over and chill with the guys then I'll let you know and Denim went over Spencer house for the weekend.
Toni- okay well I'm about to leave, I love you and if you leave the house make sure you call me and let me know that you're leaving
Diezel- okay, I love you too.
Toni grabs her purse and the keys to her BMW and she walks outside and locks the front door, she gets in her car and leave. Once she got in the car she calls Kenny.
Phone call
Toni- hello
Kenny- hey, baby
Toni- hey, love. Where do you want me to meet you at?
Kenny- you want to go to The Waffle on Sunset Blvd or where you wanna go?
Toni- yeah that'll be fine, do they sell chicken and waffles? You know ever since I became.. in Tamar words Toni Braxton Living Legend, it's all about fancy restaurants and all that good stuff.
Kenny- *giggles* okay, well Ms. Living Legend I'm sure they have Chicken and waffles but I'll meet you there then.
Toni and Kenny continues to talk on the phone as she drives to The waffle in Los Angeles. Once toni made it, she parked her car and went inside as the host took her to where Kenny had reserved a table for them already in a private area.
Toni- I've missed you, even though we had just saw each other yesterday.
Kenny- I've missed you more. I asked and they said they have Chicken and waffles so I ordered that for you with a glass of water.
Toni- what did you get?
Kenny- same thing.
Toni looks into Kenny's eyes and smiles, as Kenny smiles and then he waved his hand to get her attention.
Kenny- Toni, earth to Toni
Toni- sorry, I was just um-
Kenny- don't be sorry, but how are the boys?
Toni- they're good, by the way Diezel has a project coming up and he wanted to know if he could sit in on one of your sessions..
Kenny- sure.
Toni- so, I was thinking that maybe we could just go back to my house and maybe watch a movie. You know since the boys are gone, unless you have to go to the studio. No funny business, literally. I just want to spend time with you.
Kenny- I have to go the studio for awhile and then maybe you and I can have dinner later tonight, how that sound.
Toni- but I want to spend the day with you, Ken
