the song ended and i looked up at mattia while he was still holding me close. i literally forgot we were in a room full of people so in the heat of the moment i got an my tippy toes and connected our lips. mattia held onto my waist while my hands found their way up to his neck. we pulled away and stared into each other's eyes. everything felt so great just like i wanted it to..... that was until everyone started clapping and cheering.
i snapped back into reality and looked around. i was super confused and embarrassed.
me: oh no...
i aggressively pulled away from mattia and basically ran back to our table. i picked up all my stuff. i was shaking so bad and i felt like i was going to cry, puke, and pass out all at the same time.
mar: kai you okay
me: i think that's enough prom for me tonight.
ale: kai c'mon they're just happy for you guys
me: pls t-
i was panicking so bad i couldn't even speak anymore. mattia walked up behind me. he looked at me and his face dropped
mattia: oh my god what's wrong
me: pl..... i wanna go home
mattia: okay okay
all of the boys grabbed their stuff and got up. alejandro called robert and told him to come. mattia grabbed my hand and led me outside to the car he rented. i got in the back seat and curled my knees to my chest. fuck prom
mattia: we're all gonna go to my house
me: okay
mar and samy got in with us. mar sat in the front next to mattia (let's just pretend mattia can actually drive okay) and samy sat in the back next to me, giving me hugs.

we all pulled to my house. my moms car was gone so i guess she left. everyone got out of the cars and went in. there was dinner on the table with a note
" i hope it was everything you dreamed it'd be. eat up hijo. from mom"
me: my mom is so corny i can't
i look up from the note to see samy, mar, ale, alvaro, and robert digging into the food. MY FOOD
me: ayeee what the fuck that's for me
mar: you snooze, you lose brother
i walked over took all the food from them, slapping them as i did so.
