Hey guys! Is that greeting too plain? Anyway, this chapter is just plain prose, no pictures. I hope you enjoy!

Question of the day: Do you have a bias in BTS?

Jimin didn't know how to feel. How was he even supposed to feel? He had just found out that his ex-boyfriend just so happened to be a well-known rapper and producer hired by the same company that Jimin worked for. Apparently, they had just been working near each other for who knows how long without knowing. In fact, was it even both of them? Did Yoongi know? Was Jimin the only one in the dark? They apparently had enough mutual friends for it to be possible.

Jimin wasn't sure what to think of the situation. His mind felt muddled. He was conflicted and he had no idea why. Should he say something to Yoongi? If so, what would he say? Sure, they had parted amicably – the breakup was a mutual decision – but that didn't mean that they could talk so easily. Especially after so many years. Jimin's heart raced at the thought. He wanted to talk to Yoongi, but what would he even say?

'Hey, remember me? Your ex? Yeah, I found your Instagram account and started looking through it like some stalker cause we have the same friends.'

Jimin scoffed. As if he could even try. He ran a hand through his hair, sighing in frustration. He shouldn't have gotten so worked up over the whole thing, but he couldn't help it. Despite all these years, Yoongi still made him nervous. Jimin smiled as he remembered the time when the older man had asked him out.

"Jimin-ah."

Jimin turned his head at the familiar voice, smiling when he saw Yoongi.

"Hyung, there you are. Tae and I were wondering where you went."

"Uh, yeah."

Jimin frowned, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Yoongi said, though he didn't look the part. "Um, Jimin, can I talk to you in private?"

Taehyung's eyebrows raised as he looked back and forth between his friends. Jimin ignored him as he nodded at Yoongi. He let the older teen help him up and he waved to Taehyung as Yoongi led him out of the cafeteria. They moved down the hallway until they reached the staircase at the end and Yoongi let go of Jimin's wrist.

"What's up, hyung? Did you need my help with something?"

Yoongi shook his head, "No. Jimin, I have something to ask you."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Will you...will you go on a date with me?"

Jimin promptly felt time stop as he tried to process Yoongi's words. Had he just...asked Jimin out? His crush had really asked him out. Jimin was sure he was dreaming.

"Jimin-ah?"

The said boy blinked as he looked up from where he had been staring a hole into Yoongi's jacket.

"What?"

"I asked if you wanted to go on a date with me. Do you not want to?"

"No!" Jimin exclaimed, startling Yoongi. He blushed, "I mean, yes. I mean...no, wait, hyung. I'm sorry. I'm just surprised. I'd love to go out with you."

Yoongi smiled, his real gummy smile that Jimin loved, "Yeah?"

Jimin smiled back as he reached out, taking Yoongi's hand in his. His heart started to beat faster at the feeling.

"Yeah."

Jimin blinked, forcing himself out of the memory. He missed Yoongi, he realized. He hadn't seen the other man in almost six years and he still missed him. A deep ache settled into Jimin's chest as he sighed. It was just like him to still have feelings for his ex, even after so long. He had tried to move on; he really had. It didn't work, though. He kept comparing his partners to Yoongi.

'Yoongi-hyung would always buy me chocolate cake for dessert if we went out. Not tiramisu.'

'Yoongi knew how to make me smile without trying.'

'Yoongi always walked me home after our dates. He made sure I was inside before leaving.'

It was always 'Yoongi this...' and 'Yoongi that...'

Eventually, Jimin realized how unfair it was to his partners to keep having such high expectations from them and he gave up on trying to move on. If it happened, then so be it. There was no rush. He decided to focus on his dancing and if he were to be honest, it wasn't a decision he regretted. It got him to where he was today as a backup dancer and choreographer for Big Hit.

It made him happy to know that Yoongi had succeeded as well. Despite how petty he was known to be at times, he wasn't upset about it. He knew how much Yoongi had struggled with his music and how it was a big risk for him to move to Seoul. Jimin had supported him though. He and Taehyung were the ones who had helped Yoongi pack his things and sent him off at the train station. His family had been there as well, but they were still hesitant about Yoongi's decision at the time. Jimin understood. It was a huge gamble for Yoongi and yet, he won.

Jimin looked down at his phone. He didn't want to make a move just yet. He still wasn't sure about reintroducing himself in Yoongi's life like that. The least he could do for now was look through the other's Instagram account. Maybe he could get some insight into Yoongi's life that way because there was no way he was embarrassing himself in front of his friends by asking them.

Jimin sighed. Why was his life suddenly so complicated?
