Hey guys! This is the last full on prose chapter, I believe. Everything else will be Instagram posts. Enjoy!
Question of the day: Do you have a favourite supervillain?
They had all agreed to meet up for dinner at a restaurant in Gangnam. It would be expensive, sure, but they all made more than enough money to cover the costs. Everyone except for Hoseok and his mysterious boyfriend were there already, waiting on the said couple to arrive.
"So, what is he like?" Jungkook asked, leaning forward.
Jin smiled, "He's pretty nice. He's fun to be around and he's not annoying like some of the other people I work with."
"I've never worked with him," Taehyung pouted.
"Maybe if you ask, you guys can set something up," Namjoon suggested.
"My manager's kind of a hardass but I'll see."
Jimin snorted as he looked up from his phone. He noted the time and turned to look at Yoongi.
"When did Hobi-hyung say they were going to come?"
Yoongi shrugged, "Soon. His words."
Jimin shook his head and tuned back into the conversation between their friends. It wasn't long afterwards that the couple of the hour finally arrived. Hoseok came over to the group, holding hands with someone. They waited until the two were seated to finally say something.
"So, you're Choi Jiyeong," Namjoon spoke first.
"Yeah, and you're Kim Namjoon. I love your work," Jiyeong replied, before turning to look at Yoongi. "Yours too. Daechwita is my favourite song right now."
Namjoon smiled while Yoongi nodded in approval. His cheeks were a bit pink, but no one said anything if they noticed.
"Oh, you guys can call me CJ, by the way. If you want."
"Wait, how old are you?" Jimin asked.
"He's the same age as me," Hoseok said.
"Can we call you hyung?" Taehyung asked, eagerly.
CJ chuckled, "Sure."
"So, how have you been?" Jin jumped in. "I didn't know the next time I'd hear from you that you'd be dating my dongsaeng."
"Jin-hyung," Hoseok warned, but Jin waved him off as he stared down his fellow actor.
"Oh, I've been good and trust me," CJ said, "I didn't know I'd be dating him either. I definitely don't regret it, though."
Hoseok smiled at him and Taehyung couldn't help but coo.
"Aw, why don't you say things like that to me?" he asked Jungkook. The young dancer gaped at him for a moment before rolling his eyes.
"Hyung, you always get too mushy," he mumbled.
Taehyung frowned, "Too mushy? There's no such thing."
He kissed both of Jungkook's cheeks which quickly became flaming red.
Jimin smirked, "Ah, you're so cute, Jungkook-ah."
Jungkook huffed, but it had no effect when he was still blushing. Jimin giggled as the others watched the maknaes' interaction with amusement.
"CJ-hyung," Taehyung called suddenly, breaking the moment, "I've wanted to meet you for so long."
CJ smiled, "Really?"
"He's been a fan ever since he saw you in The Marble Prince," Jimin said.
"Oh, wow. Thank you. To be honest, I never thought that was my best work."
Taehyung was quick to shake his head, "Not possible. I loved it."
"And anything you say goes, right?" Yoongi muttered and Taehyung gave him an offended look. Before they could start bickering, Namjoon began to speak.
"What do you like best about Hoseok?"
"What?" Hobi laughed nervously. "CJ, you don't have to answer that."
"No, it's cool," CJ reassured him. "Besides, why wouldn't I take the chance to gloat about you?"
Hoseok smiled at him and if it looked dreamy, that was just fine.
"I like his smile and I know that might sound generic, but I don't mean his usual bright smiles. I love those too, but I like when he has this little, soft looking smile on his face. That's when I know he's really happy."
Jin and Namjoon looked absolutely enamoured. Jimin and Taehyung weren't far behind as they both said a quiet 'Aw'. Jungkook was glancing awkwardly between Hoseok and his boyfriend while Yoongi merely smirked at the two.
Hoseok's cheeks could be compared to a ripe tomato as he hid his face in the crook of CJ's neck. He didn't blush very often. He was a little too bold and somewhat shameless for that. However, being around or talking about CJ seemed to do the trick quite easily. Being in a relationship with him wasn't something he had gotten used to as yet.
"Oh gosh, that's so cute," Jin said.
"I can see the hearts in your eyes, hyung," Yoongi commented. "Calm down."
Namjoon cleared his throat, "Well, I don't think any more questioning is needed."
Everyone else nodded and they continued on with their meal. They all got to know CJ as best as possible and he tried to return the favour. By the end of the night, their hearts were just as full as their stomachs. They were happy for Hoseok.
"What did you guys think? Be honest," Hoseok said. He was standing along with everyone else as Jin and CJ talked a few feet away.
"He's cool," Yoongi responded, simply.
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"I think he's great for you," Namjoon said, reaching out to put a hand on Hoseok's shoulder.
"He seems so sweet, hyung. I'm really happy for you," Jimin smiled and Jungkook nodded in agreement.
"Now, I have one more person to buy me food."
"At least now we know why you really talk to us," Taehyung said as he slung his arm around Jungkook's waist. The younger man wrapped his own arm around his boyfriend's shoulders. "Anyway, Hobi-hyung, he's awesome! I love him!"
"That's the fan in you speaking," Jimin teased.
Taehyung shrugged, "I still love him."
Hoseok was positively beaming, "I'm really glad you all like him. Jin-hyung seems like he does too. Jiyeong makes me happy."
"That's good," Yoongi nodded with a sense of finality.
Jin and CJ came back over to re-join the group and after agreeing to make more plans with their newcomer, they all split ways.
