You're Not Alone

(A Kendall Story)

Chapter 2

When I got in the car I seen Jamie in a cheetah skirt and a plain black top with some black pumps. Every year for the first day of school she wears something that stands out, I think she was the only girl that dressed up like that but she definitely made an impression... to everyone. Don't get me wrong, I love Jamie with all my heart my she was the type that was in control, of EVERYTHING. You could probably say, I followed her lead more than stand by her side.

"You look beautiful" I say.

"Thanks, so do... wait are you wearing jeans? On the first day!" She pracitcally shouts.

"Yeah, I wanted something simple" I said with a confused look on my face.

"Well, you got the look you were looking for... definitely not a first day outfit" She saying this with a disgusted look on her face.

"I thought it was..." I say kind of sadly.

"Whatever, we have all year to work on your look" She says.

Your P.O.V.

Truthfully, I loved my look. I was never one to dress up for anything. The only time I wore a dress/skirt was when my dad died. I was nine so I really had no say on what I wore to the funeral. Jamie has always been like this, I have to wear what she says or... well as you can see she go a some fashion rage.

"So what's your schedule this year"? I ask.

"Uhm, I'm not really sure. My mom handed it to me this morning and I didn't really pay attention" She says.

I grab it out of her bag and see we have absouktely no classes together. Every year we've always had one or more classes together, we even had lunch together. What am I going to do now?

"You've got to be kidding me" I say looking at her schedule.

"What" She asks?

"We have no classes together, not even lunch" I say.

"Are you serious, what am I supposed to do" She asks.

"I'm thinking the same thing, looks like senior year will be the year of changes" I kind of giggled.

"How is this funny? We've always had at least one class together". She sad with a stern tone.

"Well, go up to the office and get it changed". I say shyly.

"No, just forget it. They won't do anything" She said sarcastically.

"Okay" I say with a sad tone.

So my morning went from amazing to getting bitched out from my "best friend". Happy First Day...

"Park here" I say when we finally reached the school. It was a rule that if seniors drove they get a automatic of any spot in the front row.

"Alright, well let's go get this year over with" She said.

"Aren't you happy? This is the year we've been waiting for our whole lives" I say.

"Yeah, I'm fine let's just go" She says.

I figured she was a little upset about the schedules, but I never did think she would get this pissed off. When we walked in, there was barely anyone there. It was only 7:40 and school didn't start till 8:15. The students here were last minute, especially getting to school. We eventually found our lockers and our first period. Every year we have this routine where we walk around, go find some friends and check out the guys. But Jamie was still mad about the whole schedule situation so she went straight to her class and I went to mine, which was Pre-Cal. I hated math with a passion, I was really good at it but there was just something about it. When I walked in, I figured I would be the first one in there but there was this gorgeous boy towards the back, usually I don't gush over boys but he was just to beautiful, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Hi" I say, still with that ridiculous smile on my face.

"Oh, hi" He said with that shocked look on his face, the one where he was surprised someone talked to him.

"Mind if I sit here" I ask while taking the seat right next to him?

"No, not at all. Be my guest" He said with a much more calm look this time.

"Thank, I'm Eve" I say.

"Well it's nice to meet you, I'm Kendall" He says.

His name was just as beautiful as he was. He had amazing blonde hair, not the bleach color, but like a dirty blonde. His eyes were a piercing green color, and his smile... oh God, his smile was just perfect. To top it off, he had dimples. If you knew me very well, I was a sucker for dimples.

"Nice to meet you as well. Are you new here, I don't think I've ever seen you" I ask?

"Yeah, I just moved here from Kansas. My dad got a new job so we tranfered" He said.

"Awesome, well welcome" I say.

We talked for about 5 more minutes until more students started to pack in. Soon after the bell rang and the teacher started talking. Thankfully we didn't have any work today, I definitely wasn't wanting homework the first day. After 45 minutes of non-stop talking the bell finally rang and my next class was Biology 2, truthfully I was hoping Kendall was in that class. I think I have a little crush on him... okay no, a huge crush.
