You're Not Alone
(A Kendall Story)
Chapter 1
"Eve.... EVE" My mom shouts. I slowly turn over to face my clock to see that it was only 5:00 AM, what could possible be so important that she's making me get up this early. After 5 times of hearing my name screamed I drag myself downstairs to see what all the fuss was about. When I reach the last step I see a man standing next to her with dark hair and beautiful brown eyes, now I know it's early but I swear I'm looking at my brother who I haven't seen in 2 years since he left for Iraq.
Logan's P.O.V.
When I seen Eve my mind was blown my little sister wasn't so little anymore, she was a beautiful young lady who defintiely gets her looks from our mom. The last time I seen her was 2 weeks after I graduated, she helped me pack for my trip not knowing I would be gone for a whole 2 years. She had long dark brown hair and light brown eyes, just like our mom. I was still in amaze how much she has changed from those 2 years, when I left she was going to be a sophomore in high school and today she'll be starting her senior year and I couldn't be more proud of her.
Your P.O.V.
"LOGAN" I screamed at the top of my lungs when I seen him, I was so loud I probably woke the dead.
"Hey sweetheart" He said with that amazing smile slightly showing his dimples.
"When did you get home" I asked while giving him the biggest hug ever.
"About an hour ago, my picked me up from the hospital" He said.
"Oh my God, this has to be the best first day of school ever you have no idea" I said.
"Well it's about to get even better, I'm home for good" He said while walking over to our mom giving me a half hug.
"Wait, did you say for good?" I said in shock.
"Yeah, I was injured during battle. Nothing serious, but they advise I take a break for awhile and sign back up when I'm ready. But being back home made me realize I'm not ready to leave anytime soon" He said.
"Logan, this is amazing. I can't belive you're going to be home for my senior year" I said.
"Well believe it, I'm not going anywhere. Now you better start getting ready, you don't want to be late for your first day" He said while looking at the time.
He was right, with all the excitement I totally forgot what time it was. I still needed to get a shower and get ready for school.
"Alright" I said still smiling at the fact that he was standing in my living room, and home for good.
When I got done with my shower I went in my room to look for the perfect outfit, I had to make an impression on the first day. I decided to wear black skinny jeans with holes at the knees, a plain white top and grey cardigan, and black flats. It was simple, yet the perfect outfit. I curled my naturally staright hair and put a little make-up on, not a lot but enough to still show.
I was finally done getting ready around 7:15, so I went done stairs to have some breakfast before my friend Jamie picked me up. We've been best friends since 3rd grade and she's more like a sister than a friend.
While I was finishing up my cereal Logan walked in and just stopped and started staring.
"What" I asked a little confused.
"You're just so beatiful" He said while smiling.
"Awh Logan , thank". As soon as I said that I heard a horn, a sign Jamie was waiting outisde.
I quickly grabbed my purse and hugged Logan, "Tell mom I love her and I'll see her after she gets off work". He hugged me back and said "Okay, have a good first day. And please stay out of trouble". I laughed when he said that "Oh, you are so funny. But if I recall, you were the one who stayed in trouble". He giggled and I started walking out the door, I couldn't wait to tell Jamie my morning.
