(A Kendall Story)
Chapter 5
Kendall's P.O.V.
I seen Eve with a worried look on her face after we finished our kiss, something must have been bothering her. It was a little weird for the fact she was fine until she turned her head, what did she see?
"Are you okay, you looked like you just seen a ghost" I ask a little worried?
"Who me, yeah uh--- well, uhm" She said nervously.
"Eve, just spit it out. What's over there that is making you feel so uncomfortable" I say?
She points to a girl standing my the bathrooms giving us the dirtiest look I've ever seen before. Who was this girl and why did she make Eve scared out of her mind?
"That's Jamie, my bes--- well my old best friend" She said with a somewhat sad tone.
"Is that why you're so upset" I ask?
"Yeah, just after what happen last period, I feel weird being around her" She said.
Fianlly the bell rang and I walked Eve to class. We stood outside the door and I gave her a hug, letting her know I was here and that everything would be okay.
"I have to go now" She said.
"Alright, well rememeber we still have gym together. Can you make it till then" I say with a little giggle?
"Well, I don't know. I might not, it's going to be very hard" She said jokingly.
"Just incase you can't, here's something to remember till last period" With that, I kissed her. A little rougher than the last time, but not to rough to scare her away.
"I just may be able to make it now, what do you think about that" She said laughing
Your P.O.V.
I walked in to class and took the seat all the way in the back, I was trying to be as far away from people as possible... that didn't happen. Jamie's dumbass of a boyfriend James comes sitting down right next to me. This is just great, I wanted to be away from people and the last person I ever wanted to see within 10 feet of me sits by my side.
"Well looky who we have here" He says.
"And look what the cat dragged from the dump" I say smiling in my mind of how funny that sounded.
"Hey now, no need for dirty talk" He said a little mad.
"No dirty talk, just stating facts" I smile.
"Listen, I'm not here to cause trouble" He says.
"Then don't say another word to me and we'll get along just fine" I say turning towards the front of the room.
The rest of the class period went by surprisingly fast, and so did the other two period. Finally it was last period, in some ways it felt like it to forever to get here... which I hated. When I walked in a few students were there, but no sign of Kendall, I was really hoping he didn't get lost... but I don't know how you could, this was the biggest thing in the school, you couldn't miss it if you tried. I found a spot to sit on the floor, which sucked because I was wearing dark jeans which meant everything would stick and show. I looked down for a few minutes and when I looked back up I seen Kendall walking towards me... there came that ridiculous smile of mine.
"Hey beautiful" He said.
"Hey you" I smile.
"Ready for this period to be over" He asks.
"Not really, I'm not so thrilled about detention after school" I say with a frown.
"Awh, it will be okay. We still on for after detention" He ask
"I was thinking... how about you come over to my house. My brother just got back from Iraq and I bet he would love to meet you" I say.
"Are you sure, I mean I don't want to interrupt family time with you guys" He says.
"Don't worry about it, it's totally fine" I smile.
"Well then, I'm there" He says.
Gym was absoultely boring as hell. All we did was talk about fitness. I knew all of that, I get it walking this huge school everyday. Finally the bell rang, but I wasn't to thrilled because I knew shortly after I would be stuck in a room with a bunch of hooligans for 20 minutes. Kendall was being the gentleman every man should be and walked me to my locker, hand and hand.
"Ugh, I don't want to do this" I say in a whiney voice.
"Well skip, it couldn't hurt that much" He said.
"Ohhhh no, then I would have even more detentions than you would ever know. I'm good with one" I say.
"Haha, okay. Well I'm going to head home and tell my mom about our plans... and of course the first day, text me when all is clear to come over" He says handing me his number.
"And if I don't" I say with a flirty smile.
"Then you don't get this..." He said having his lips meet mine.
"Believe me, I promise you will get a text" I laugh.
Kendall left and went home and I slowly made my way to detention. Why did I even get into it with Jamie over something so pointless. I mean of course Kendall is not pointless, but her conversation about him was. I was so done with her drama, it wasn't good for me and I definitely need to concetrate on school since it being senior year, and I wasn't letting her get in the way. When I walked in, I handed the teacher my detention slip. I've never seen her, so she must have been new. I turned around to shockinly see more student than I thought would be here.. and when I started looking more and more, I seen the one person I didn't not want to see...
