After that incident in Vivian's funeral where her daughter saw me I decided distance myself from Astrid. Oo inaamin ko na sinusundan ko siya minsan kapag nakikita ko siya dahil nag aalala lang ako sakanya because I can't forgive myself if something happen to her, Vivian's death is enough already to her to suffer even she don't deserve it.
"Garcia tawag ka ng Daddy mo" sabi sa akin ni Leo. He already recovered from the shot that he had been receive from the previous mission.
"Bakit daw?" tanong ko.
"He has something to tell you" he replied. Lumabas nalang ako ng office at pumunta kay Dad kung saan prente siyang nakaupo sa kanyang silya. I knock at the door twice kahit bukas na ang pinto, sign of respect though.
"Come in" he mumbled.
"Yes Dad? Do you need something?" I asked him. Nagkakape na naman siya kaya lalo siyang ninenyerbyos eh.
"Where's Noah?" I frown when I realized his question, did he already forgot?
"You suspended him, right? Today is his last day of being suspended and tomorrow he can go back here" I muttered. Napatapik nalang siya ng kanyang noo.
"Oo nga pala, I forgot. Anyways I have a new assignment for you and I hope this time hindi na kayo pumalpak ang team niyo" tugon niya. I don't have any idea what kind of assignment in this pero sana maging successful na kami dito.
"What is it?" I asked firmly.
"We got a report that there are Chinese who are doing a kidnapping in metro Manila, they only taking girls which they are making it a business. Ginagawa nila itong online prostitute sa mga foreigners sa ibang bansa. I'll just send you the location and you will do a raid tomorrow morning kapag nandito na ang kapatid mo" he continuously said.
"Hindi ba yan kaya i-handle ng mga regular police?" tanong ko. Napakasimpleng kaso lang naman pala kasi.
"No. Ibibigay ko ba sa inyo to kung kaya nila?" naiirita niyang sagot.
"Oh chill ka lang Dad, kakakape mo yan eh" pang aasar ko sa kanya. Sinenyasan niya lamang ako na lumabas na ng office niya because he has something important to do. Bumalik nalang ako sa HQ at nagpahinga saglit.
"Hey nag lunch kana ba? Tara kain tayo" paanyaya sa akin ni Bree. Sigh, here we go again.
"Yes" I replied shortly. I lied because I don't want her to give false hope na may chance kaming dalawa, I already told her before that I'm seeing someone. She was about to speak when my phone vibrate and excuse myself to pick it up.
"Hello Margaux?" I said as I pick up the call.
"Where are you? Let's have lunch together?" she suggested. Isang malaking ngiti ang kumawala sa akin dahil may time na ulit siya na makipagkita sa akin. She's the one that I'm talking about to Bree, she's a college student and a business major.
"I'm at the HQ. Can I pick you up?" I asked.
"Yup! I miss you" I immediately hang up the call at lumabas na ng building. I immediately drive and headed to her school, it took me 10 minutes dahil wala naman masyadong traffic. I immediately let out a smile when I saw her at the gate waiting for me, I honk three times in order for her to notice me. When she already saw my car she wave and walk towards me.
"Hey" I greeted her as long as she entered my car. She didn't greet me back instead she gave a long and passionate kiss, as long as I miss her but we can't do that here.
"Hmm" she moaned when I touch her butt.
"How's school so far?" I asked her when I decided to stop baka saan na kasi mapunta at hindi sa restaurant kami didiretso.
