Chapter 9: Rebel Blade

Astrid's POV

6 years after...

"Argh!" he groaned as I stabbed his right hand of my machetes. We're here at the hideout of Triad in Russia and this man crying in front of me is spying me for days already. 

"Please let me go!" this guy plead as I buried a bullet in his leg which made him scream, he even tried to escape by shaking his chair. Stupid.

"Gusto ko lang malaman kung sino ang nag-utos sayo na sundan ako! That's a very simple question bakit hindi mo masagot?!" sigaw ko dito at tinanggal ang suot kong mask kasabay ng hood. 

"Dahil papatayin niya ako kapag nalaman niyang nilaglag ko siya" iyak nito. I just laugh about what he said.

"Really? So aren't you afraid na kapag hindi mo sa akin sinabi ay papatayin din kita?" pananakot ko sa kanya na ikinaputla ng mukha niya. My eyes landed to Jacob and he's just looking at us.

"P-please Astrid don't kill--" I interrupted him by pointing a gun to his head.

"Don't call me by my name because I am Rebel Blade!" I scream to his face and pointed the gun harder but he just chuckled.

"If you're going to kill me, go. Your photos are already in my boss hands and he is going to send it to the LAPD to --" hindi ko na pinatapos ang sasabihin niya at binaon ko na sa ulo niya ang bala ng baril ko.

"Damn it! Damn it!" I felt Jacob's hand rubbing my back to comfort me.

"Makikilala din natin kung sino yun, okay? Kumalma ka na" sabi niya sa akin. 

It's been 6 years and I'm still here in Russia doing some assignment that Dad ordered to me. We found out that LAPD are tracing us so we decided to leave Russia five years ago and went to the different countries. 

Our first stop was Japan kung saan nag aral ako ng ilang buwan ng set of arts and that includes psychology, espionage, murder, military science, jujutsue grappling and Kenjutsu swordmanship. After that, pumunta kami ng iba't ibang parte ng Asia para lituhin ang LAPD dahil alam ko that they're tracking all of my movements. And lastly, bumalik na kami ng Russia para ituloy ang training ko bilang Assassin where Jane and I trained for two years, pinasok ako ni Daddy sa isang Police Academy for one year which is pagmamay-ari ng isa sa mga client ng Triad so my identity is safe.

"Hindi pwede to, magagalit si Dad sa akin pag nalaman niyang nasundan tayo" sambit ko kay Jacob. 

"Shh we can solve this" he mumbled. 

I'm very thankful that he is with for the past six years of my journey to train being an assassin. There are only eight members of the Triad that are allowed to see my face, first is Dad and Jacob who is our personal bodyguard, Jane and the five officers of the Triad. Jane is one of the Assassin of the Triad, remember when I had my first day of training and she approached me? She's been ordered by my Father to spy me in a distance if I'm doing my training well. Jane now is already in the Philippines because my Father needs her.

Alam ng LAPD that I am Rebel Blade pero wala silang clue or hint kung ano na ang itsura ko ngayon. Nagbago ako ng sobra na walang makakahalata na ako si Astrid Legazpi ang dating nerd at iyakin sa school, except for my amber eyes which I can easily cover with contact lenses.

I even used different names sa mga bansa na napuntahan namin para maitago ko ang aking pagkatao laban sa mga Police. Kilala ako bilang Aki Tanaka sa Japan, Anastasia Kuznetsov sa Russia at ngayon ay kilala na bilang Rebel Blade dahil sa mga napatay ko na na mga Influential people and mostly Politicians. 

Russian Assassination Group or RAG is connected to the Triad, Lance Turgenev came to us to asked for a partnership at tinanggap naman ito ng Triad dahil kailangan pa palawakin ng Triad ang connection sa Russia, we are the one who supplies our product which is drugs and RAG is the one who distributes it to the clients.
