Me and Rosie were sitting together, looking at each other. We were watching Netflix on the TV and hoped that it was just all a nightmare. Sadly, it wasn't.
We heard a lot of gunshots near us and didn't know where it came from. We looked around us, but we were the only ones in the room. Rosie was shaking like hell and i pulled her into my arms. ''It's all going to be okay, we can do this.'' Rosie looked up to me and smiled. I gave her a kiss on her forehead as i heard a big bang from outside our door.
''Okay, that was close. I think they are going to get us.'' As we heard some guys talking, i screamed: ''HIDE!!!'' Rosie was laying under the bed and i was hidden in the closet. We heard the door slam open and i let out a silent scream. Is this really how our lives are going to end? We can't let it end like this.
I heard footsteps. I was scared for my life,, and for Rosies life. I can't let her die, i just f*cking can't!!! I could hear them saying where they're going to check. ''I'll check under the bed, you'll check behind the tv.'' I heard them say. 'Oh no, not under the bed.' i said softly.
''What do we need to do if we find someone?'' He said
''Murder them. We got no time for tiny soft girls begging to stay alive. This is war.''
''God, i hope Rosie is still alive. She's hot and i want to kill her for myself.''
''Didn't you hear, she's in love with Ophelia.''
''Ew, that whore? Nah fam, she's mine. Dead or not.''
I got so angry that i grabbed the nearest door and kicked the closet open.
''What exactly did you say, sir?'' I said.
''I said, Rosie is mine.'' He answered
I repeated his words while i pointed my gun at him.
''This is war.'' i said, while putting my finger on the trigger.
*BAM*
A loud sound appeared as his head slammed on to the floor.
''So, who's next?''
The other guys ran away, being scared of me.
''What have i done..''
Rosies puppy-looking eyes stared at me from under the bed.
She was crying. She pointed at her foot.
The bullet went straight through the guy and bounced off in her foot.
This. Means. War.
I took Rosie to a safe spot,, my arms. I told her everything will be okay and that she will live a healthy life with a good marriage will come in the future because we will survive.
Suddenly, Rosie and I hear a sound coming through the speakers.
''Will all of the remaining players make their way up to the cafeteria?''
Rosie and I looked each other in the eyes and nodded.
''You bring weapons if we have to fight, i bring the stuff that will heal us when we're hurt.''
''You're going to be a good doctor, Ophelia.'' She said.
I let out a small breath and said: ''I hope I ever get the chance to become one.''
I left Rosie schocked, with no reply and silence for about a minute.
I broke the silence. ''Come on, let's go there.''
