Victorie stood stunned. She had seen some strange things in her lifetime, but this was certainly not something she had ever assumed she'd whitness. There, right in front of her, wands drawn and looking as if they were ready time kill her, stood the order of the phoenix. And while I doubt that is the most absurd thing that will happen over the course of this story, it was very shocking in the moment. Victorie and her group of cousins and friends cowered back, her in the front trying to shield them all from the order.
"Who are you?" Mad-Eye Moody finally spoke "And what're you doing here? How did you get in?"
The two eldest of the travelers shared a look of concern, neither had any idea of what they could possibly say in that moment. I mean what on earth does one say when a dead auror suddenly holds a wand to your face and demands to know where you came from when you can't even recall the last five minutes?
Before it could get too out of hand, Severus Snape pushed his way through the crowd, having arrived shortly after the group after receiving note of a bunch of strange teens showing up at order headquarters. In his hand, held a small vile containing a small amount of clear yet shiny liquid, which Victorie knew to be verituserum, the rare and hard to brew potion used to place the recipient into a short trance in which they are forced to tell only the truth. No one of the group had ever expierenced this trance like state, other than one member, Scorpius Malfoy. While he had been under it, he only held a vague memory of those events, and most likely could not even tell you what it was in that vial.
A small surge of power and urgency rushed through Victories brain, she had no clue where it had come from, she was always one to think through her actions thoroughly before ever acting upon them, that is why she was always put in responsibility of her younger siblings and cousins. But in this moment, all of that was gone and she made, arguably the best desicion she could've in the moment, which will be a rare occurrence throughout this tale. She leapt forward, and snatched the vial out of Snapes hand, causing any wand that was on her to momentarily drop from shock, only to be raised again with far more purpose. Victorie, instead of smashing or be-ridding of the potion like most had expected from this outburst, promptly removed the cork from the bottle and downed the entire potion. Bitter. The potion had tasted rather bitter, and quite frankly, awful.
She shook her head to rid the taste, and looked directly into Severus's eyes, as if daring him to question her. Which of course he did
