A/N: Gonna be honest with you. I wish I had gotten a little more creative with this one. But it's a one shot I have finished and I don't want to leave you guys hanging with just the one. So here you go! One shot number 2!! (I'll try a little more on the next one 😉)

"Hey. Where's..?" Willow had said, but Luz already knew where the question was going and turned to see Amity on the ground. "Amity!" They both yelled, running towards her. They kneeled on the ground next to her. She sat, holding her leg and groaning.

"I think I hurt my leg," she said, still holding onto it. "But, I'll be ok."

Luz didn't fully believe her. "Are you sure? I could help carry you if you want?" She offered, wanting to help.

But as soon as those words left the humans mouth, Amity's cheeks turned red. For some reason, Amity found herself a blushing mess around Luz ever since Grom. Even though she knew why it was happening, she was still struggling to control it.

"Pff, I'm fine. Ha ha, w-who's Amity" she stammered. Who's Amity? Seriously? she thought, mentally slapping herself.

"And scoop," was all that Luz said before sliding her arms under Amity and lifting her up to carry her.

"Oh... wow..... Sports..." Amity could no longer form full sentences now that she was in the human's arms. Gus came up to them asking about something called a 'montage', but it went right over Amity's head while she was silently freaking out.

"Yeah," Luz happily replied. "But first, I should take Amity to the healer."

"What happened?" Gus asked, and Luz told him that she had hurt her leg, but for Amity, that conversation was muffled while she tried to keep her cool. Some more things were said, but she didn't hear them and didn't know that whoever was talking was talking to her until she looked at Luz, who was already looking back at her as if she was looking for a reply.

"What?" Amity blurted.

"I said, would you like to get down and walk or do you want me to keep carrying you?" Luz repeated her questions and continued to patiently wait for an answer.

"Uh... i-it's ok. I-I should be able to walk f-fine," Amity stuttered out her answer, then Luz, as gently as she could, allowed Amity to stand up on her own. However, as soon as she put pressure on her injured leg, she gasped in pain and immediately took the weight off.

"What is it? What's wrong?" Luz frantically asked, holding her arm out for Amity to lean on and stable herself. She gladly took the human's arm and grabbed it with both hands.

"It's my leg. It hurts to put pressure on it," Amity explains, biting her lip and trying to keep the tears in her eyes from falling. "Maybe it's worse than I thought."

It wasn't long before Amity was once again in Luz's arms. "Then I guess I'm gonna have to carry you there," Luz said with a smile, happy to help. The blush that had very briefly disappeared Amity's cheeks quickly reappeared now that she was in her arms again. And because her leg was in worse pain than before, she quickly wrapped her arms around Luz in a small panic, catching Luz off guard and causing her to take a step back. "Woah, it's ok. I'm gonna get you to the healer and you will be all better in no time, ok?"

Thus, Luz starts to make her way towards the healer's office. It's a bit of a struggle due to Luz not being the strongest person in the world. If she had to choose between rereading her favourite fantasy books or working out at the gym, it's not hard at all to assume which one she'd choose. Then again, Amity herself doesn't have a lot of weight to her in the first place. So despite it being a little bit of a struggle, Luz is completely capable of carrying Amity.

After Luz had said that, Amity was glad she had hid her face in Luz's shoulder, because it couldn't be more red. She was blushing like crazy and unintentionally made her grip on Luz slightly tighter. On the way to the healers office, Amity was trying to calm her blushing self down, enough to say something.

"Hey Luz," Amity nervously mumbled.

"Yeah?" Luz responded.

"Th-thank you," Amity lifted her head and looked at Luz. Her cheeks were still a little red, but she tried to focus on thanking Luz instead.

"No problem," Luz said with a big smile on her face.

It didn't take them too much longer to get to the healers office. Once they got there, both Luz and Amity explained what happened and the person there told Luz to wait outside to look at Amity's leg. Luz didn't want to leave, but after quite a bit of convincing from both the healer and Amity, she stepped outside and sat on a bench in the hall.

After a little white, the door opened, revealing Amity holding a crutch and a cast on her foot. She explained to Luz what the healer had explained to her, about how bad the injury was and that she wouldn't be able to attend the school trip coming up. Luz was fine with it though, because it would mean Amity would be getting better while resting at home.

The two then parted ways. The healer had contacted Amity's parents and they were on their way to pick her up. Luz decided to head back to the Owl House with her friends, after doing another montage of course. An hour or two later, Amity ended up surprising them and joining them for a small get together. It was a really nice ending to a good day.
