Chapter Twelve: A Close Call

Entrapta sighed and yanked the Half-cat harshly towards her with her hair after she met with Bow in the clearing. The magicat let out a small squeak as her body skimmed the falling structures & debris.
Entrapta turned away and arched her left brow as she continued to check her tablet with a huge grin on her face, ducking as Catra flew over her.

Bow cringed as Catra's body collided heavily with the wall, creating a loud;

The collision brought Catra back to her senses and dragged her out of the trance she had previously fell in.

Once Catra's body landed onto the ground with another thud and a small "Ouwf!," the Half-cat just stayed on the floor as she began to wonder why she couldn't move when it was crucial for her to.
Entrapta glanced over at Catra and furrowed her eyebrows as Bow wondered over to her swiftly, checking if she was still okay.

"Catra! The data I have collected when studying you says you have good reflexes - Did you intentionally wait there or..?" Entrapta chirped, snapping her friend out of her endless ponders.
Entrapta smiled and continued to walk down her labyrinth of a castle, as she spoke.
"You seem to be less cold to people now-a-days. Has being with Adora made an impact on you..?" She smirked, glancing back at the half-cat in the corner of her eye. "It'd make sense. She's much more accepting than the people in the frightzone were. Oh!-And don't forget much nicer and less intimidating!"

Catra scoffed and got to her feet, wincing quietly as her knee began to sting mildly.
"What?--No!-My reflexes are fine." She retorted, crossing her arms and flicking her head to one side, leaving Entrapta chirping in the background.
"Data never lies!"
"Catra, why didn't you try to get out of that..?" Bow muttered, staring at Catra's face with concern. He watched as her left ear flapped - Probably from irritation. Catra's tail began to sway gently as she let out a small sigh.
"I don't know.."
"You don't know?--Catra...What would Adora be saying to you right now if she caught you just standing there, Letting the debris fall onto you?" Bow asked with a stern voice.

Catra furrowed her eyebrows slightly as she inhaled sharply, putting on her best 'Adora' Impression.

"..'Oh Catra! What were you thinking?!'...You could've gotten hurt!" Catra mimicked, dramatically placing the back of her right hand onto her forehead and closing her eyes as she continued.
"...'You can't keep on relying on me to save you!....Don't let this be like the cliff incident where we both almost plummeted to our utter demise~'.."

Catra opened her eyes, only to find Entrapta with an even bigger smile on her face with inflated cheeks as she struggled to hold back the laughter. Bow on the other hand, was both mildly confused and concerned for the young magicat.

However, it didn't take Bow long to shake it off, put on a poker face and glance in Entrapta's direction, following after her as they continued their mighty quest.
"....Entrapta, Where's the Lab?" He sighed, earning the princess' attention.
"Ooh-! So that's what we're here for...." She announced, as she looked down at her tablet again for a few moments with a clear sense of glee.
