Chapter 1: Worlds Collide

Parallel Universes, Alternate Realities, Time loops, Paradoxes, Time Travel. Huge mind blowing effects and concepts. The idea of infinite possibilities is often the result of wondering different out comes and asking the question What If. Some have desirable outcomes others...not so much. The likelihood of them is up for debate. According to theories, some of the most unlikely events fade away into the either like bad dreams.

Dark Copies of worlds created by unknown or unusual means is not a strange concept for Samus Aran. Nor is the concept of magic, though she has currently only seen minor things that can be considered magic, her Chozo spiritual training has opened her mind to accept cosmic forces like magic to be a legitimate possibility. The Ing and Chozo Ghosts come to mind.

The alien race known as Hirachi, know for their spectral like forms, using bio-mechanical technology, & special transports that create the illusions of giant balls of light. They were once spotted on planet Earth earning the name the Flatwoods monster. Earth at the time dismissed the orb of light as a comet and the alien face to be that of barn own with shadows making it appear larger. Samus read about them once, they were notorious for doing everything in the big book of alien cliches. Crop circles, stealing cowls, mind wipe probes, and who knows what else.

The reason why all this random subjects mattered to Samus was because she was informed of a planet that was having cosmic level threat that she'd had been requested to help, though she had to admit such a request was a tall order even for her. They didn't know the details of it, but what she did know was the following, a large Hirachi space ship was spotted near a planet. A planet know for their use in magic, and now they're having a major crisis, the sky is literally falling as their moon has some how been pulled out of orbit and plans to crash into the planet, what's making this worse is that some how there is a temporal anomaly going on that seems like they're breaking the rules of the space time continuum. The effects of time travel, some kind of time loop is in effect and it's warping the moon's progression. At some points it appears to be getting closer and at other points it appears to farther away.

This was raising quite a few question for Samus. The Hirachi are clever sure but they're not half as clever as the Space Pirates, so there is no way in Hades would they be able to do something like this without some major help of someone...or something. And it's likely magic is involved, the Galactic Federation is skeptic on that part. Samus, being more open minded, is willing to believe in something grand, even if magic was involved something radical would have to be happening to warrant this kind of power.

According to records the planet code named: HY-114 is most notably home to the Kingdom Hyrule, with history records mentioning a girl named Princess Zelda, her champion Link and their arch nemesis a tyrant king named Ganodorf. As Samus reads through the records on her trip to the planet, she has learned this place is much like many of the high fantasy adventure books she's read. Link & Zelda are elf like people, they're friends with humans, golem rock people named Gorons, Merfolk called Zoras, the nearly all female race of the Gerudo & so on.

Among her research on this planet as well as magic, she discovered something interesting when the subject of masks came up. Masks tends to be icons of power, witch doctors, shamans, tribal chiefs, that kind of thing. Not to mention the obvious Halloween traditions. One entry mentioned that sometimes masks contains the soul of another person, and to wear them is to become them and call upon their power. Samus at first chuckled at the idea as it seems rather silly, then she thought about it, her helmet is very iconic to her power suit, plus the different visors she uses to see in Thermal, Sound waves and more could be in a way like putting on a mask with different eyes.

Coming up close to the planet she did in fact see the effects of this collision. She couldn't imagine how the people must be reacting right now to see doom coming for them. Perhaps that's actually reason for the time magic, they're trying to prevent what would otherwise be the inevitable. Samus wasn't sure how she was going to be of any help, stopping Hirachi if they were involved, is only going to help so much as far as Samus knows. Her ship wasn't design to transport millions of people. It was the equivalent of a small apartment. One or two guests, 5 people counting her if they were willing to squeeze a bit.
